#WritingCommunity -- how did you *know* what genre works best for you? I have ideas all over the board, but I don't know where my niche is. Just write all the things and see what sticks???
I'm back! well...maybe. But I am HERE with my laptop open and have every intention of writing SOMETHING.
Send good vibes. (I almost wrote "god" vibes and nearly left it like that....yes, please send god vibes too).
@Expedia — you all failed to communicate with my airline and my trip was nearly ruined. Your app is still showing an incorrect dept. time. Thank god I was able to book a last minute flight with @SouthwestAir . Never, NEVER use Expedia. They’re the worst.
@Expedia — because of your terrible service I nearly had to cancel my trip. Your app is still showing an incorrect departure time—a change that was not communicated—and the customer service rep refused to book me on a new flight. Never using you again.

"They denied me water on a hot day in the wilderness. I’m not sure how many miles I was forced to hike that day, but whatever the number it was inhumane."
Today my book goes out into the world! I am feeling so full of gratitude to my friends and family, feeling proud of my grit, and feeling as vulnerable as a baby bird.

@nearonis He for sure is. What kind of people don’t go looking for a missing teenager for over 5 hours?! It was so hot that day… they found me on their way to the day hike location and made me follow them… I had no water or food all day.
I was digging through old files and found a nonfiction piece I wrote years ago. The writing was cringe; it was about the time I got lost in the wilderness during a Christian youth group trip and no one went looking for me because the pastor convinced everyone I did it on purpose.
