I’m often asked what I call the actions of Israel in Gaza.
I call it urban warfare, an extremely difficult type of war which tragically has a high casualty rate.
I call it the result of having been the target of 30,000-40,000 rockets aimed at civilians for decades.
I call it the natural outcome when you have people living beside you who constantly try to kill the citizens of your country.
I call it the culmination of multiple attempts at ceasefires and peace negotiations and offers of land for recognition and peace that never go anywhere.
I call it the only option after a savage massacre that saw 1200 brutal murders, countless rapes, 250 kidnappings, the strangulation of a 9-month and 4-year old, months of torture of hostages and their families, and a promise to do it over and over and over again.
I call it a sane rational decision after rats sneak into your country, hunt the people of your nation, and then scurry like rats underground to hide from your response, putting their own citizens between themselves and your rockets and bombs.
I call it the government of Gaza, Hamas, intentionally trying to sacrifice the lives of the people of Gaza in order to turn public opinion against Israel.
I call it tragic and horrific and devastating for the innocent people who have gotten caught up in this situation that their government has created, on purpose.
I call it the absolute only choice Israel has to try and stop the bloodshed and bring peace to the region.
I call it a miracle that Israel, despite how vicious the attack of Oct 7 was, has shown incredible patience and restraint in doing everything it can to minimize deaths and injuries to innocent victims, as few countries would have done the same.
And I call it disgraceful and disgusting that despite all of that, much of the world chooses to believe the lies and propaganda that Hamas and the Free Palestine movement are shoving down their throats, and have turned on Israel, one of the greatest countries in the world, by far.
That’s what I call it.
🚨 HERE IS WHAT LABOUR DID TO GREAT BRITAIN IN JUST ONE SINGLE WEEK
Take a look at the trail of absolute destruction Andy Burnham and his ministers inflicted on this country over the last seven days.
*Freed 700 convicted criminals onto British streets early, including violent domestic abusers and foreign offenders released into local communities on immigration bail.
*Andy Burnham confirmed on television that he could campaign to drag Britain back into the European Union, after his own aides admitted he ad libbed one third of his conference speech.
*Culture Secretary Lisa Nandy backed plans to force every household to pay a compulsory BBC levy on broadband and council tax bills, even if you do not own a television set.
*Financial Secretary James Murray imploded on live radio, unable to answer four times in a row how much his own Treasury energy policy will cost the taxpayer.
*Nature Minister Jenny Riddell Carpenter branded traditional British pubs, pints of ale, and pet black labradors a dangerous far right fantasy that never existed.
*Official figures revealed Shabana Mahmood is rubber stamping 1,100 permanent settlement applications every single working day, adding 200,000 people to welfare access in a single year.
Labour ministers do not have a clue how to run a sovereign nation.
They only know how to raise your taxes, police your online speech, empty the prisons, and surrender British borders to the rest of the world.
Retweet this immediately to make sure every voter in Britain sees the absolute carnage Labour caused in just seven days.
This framing is now happening in almost every @BBCNews story which involves antisemitism.
This one is about the @metpoliceuk asking ‘pro Palestine’ protestors not to stage a celebration march around London universities on October 7.
What is missing is the other side of this apparent expression of fact and that is where BBC journalist bias comes in.
🔴 when the number of war dead is listed the 640 IDF soldiers who were killed mainly in Gaza since October 7 are not mentioned. This is a serious omission.
🔴 when they talk about the number of dead in Gaza they have stopped saying that the figures do not differentiate between Hamas fighters and civilians.
🔴 when they talk about the independent UN report finding ‘genocide’ they do not say that this report is not only controversial because of who it was written by but also because the UN has not accepted it. Only the ICJ can make a finding of genocide which it has not done.
🔴 when they quote ‘the International Association of Genocide Scholars’ they do not discuss how anyone (you don’t even have to be a scholar, let alone a specialist) could join this organisation and the vote was taken only by 28 per cent of the organisation. Or that 6000 genocide experts and scholars have denied the finding.
I say this as someone who has worked closely with the BBC for many years: this bias is making life more dangerous for Jews. This is not neutral reporting. This is antisemitic activism.
Explain this to a Japanese person, because we are utterly baffled.
If a foreign network systematically drugged and raped tens of thousands of schoolgirls in Tokyo and Osaka...
If the police covered it up to avoid being called racist...
And if our government then handed citizenship to a foreign militant while letting rape ringleaders walk free...
Our cabinet would fall by midnight.
Every police chief involved would be in prison attire within a week.
The entire country would stand united in unstoppable outrage.
Yet in Britain, you are told to stay polite.
You are told to watch your tone.
You are told that anger makes you "far-right."
At what point did not offending the political elite become more important than the physical bodies of your daughters?
Politeness is a virtue.
Politeness in the face of child sacrifice is complicity.
Help me to understand this correctly. The Labour Party, the major unions, the Liberal Democrats and the Green Party are all strongly committed to gender ideology, irrespective of concerns about its impact on the hard-won, sex-based rights of women.
And yet politicians and union leaders are interviewed and the subject is ignored or swerved.
You might think: well, there are other pressing issues to talk about too.
But imagine there were some new political ideology that threatened fundamental rights held by *men*; an ideology that increasingly removed the word “men” as a meaningful biological category from official language; that potentially put men at risk of harm; and that virtually the entire political left and trade union movement had embraced and was trying to implement.
Do you seriously think journalists wouldn’t be asking about it constantly? Do you think it wouldn’t be front-page news? Of course it would.
Part of the reason this issue is so easily sidelined is that gender ideology poses very little practical threat to men. If a woman enters the men’s toilets or wants to compete in men’s sport, men are unlikely to feel physically threatened or disadvantaged.
The implications are very different for women.
And so women have been forced to fight relentlessly - in the face of grotesque abuse, threats and professional repercussions - just to defend rights and boundaries that, until very recently, were regarded as completely uncontroversial.
That’s what I find so extraordinary. We have male politicians pontificating about violence against women and girls who can’t even define what a woman or a girl is.
Ours are dystopian times indeed.
One problem Trump faces with the younger generations is they have no context for the stuff he’s doing.
- They don’t know that Venezuela was once the world’s sixth richest country before Communism devoured it.
- They are all but ignorant of the Castro regime’s abuses and the plight of Cubans.
- They are blissfully unaware that Iran started a war with us decades ago and have been slaughtering Americans whenever possible ever since.
- And most importantly, when it comes to Israel, they have no idea that Arafat refused a deal that granted the PLO more than 90% of what it wanted at Camp David, or that Palestinians regularly launch rockets from civilian strongholds specifically so Israel will target those areas in return and Hamas can then scream “Genocide!”
It’s not Gen Zs fault they don’t know it. We failed them by refusing to teach it.
Or, more specifically, by allowing our educational system to be hijacked long ago by Marxists who aimed to accomplish exactly what is happening now.
We let it happen, and now we are paying for it handily.
But we’d better address it ASAP.
Or we will all learn about the horrors of Cuba and Venezuela firsthand.
This story has broken me. It has unleashed a rage so strong I can barely express it, but allow me to try.
Above all, I am angry with the decades-long malevolent incompetence of the British state: politicians of all parties, the judiciary, the civil service. Their collective uselessness has shattered the social contract and made us all poorer and less safe. In just 25 years, they have led us from an affluent, high-trust society to a broken, low-trust one.
I am sickened by the growth in sectarian politics. I am appalled by the foreign ghettos in our cities and imported, bent voting practices and resultant corruption in some of our councils. I hate seeing the clothing of female oppression on our streets. I am sickened by the fact our Jewish community lives under siege.
I no longer wish to pay tax to support those who have come here illegally and should be removed immediately. It is to our shame that we have accepted mass immigration without insisting on integration. I am tired of being told that a British passport makes a foreigner as British as me. I assure you that the “British citizen” in this story is not. I am saddened that for so many people, the concept of “British” is essentially meaningless.
I am sick of the obsession with a minor war 2,500 miles away that barely affects us. I despise that 88m of our tax money is going to Hamas (because it will), when the tax burden is a record high, everything is expensive, welfare spending is out of control and we can’t even pay for our own defences when the global risk of conflict is the highest it has been since the end of the Cold War. And in spite of how much of our money the government steals from our pockets, nothing, at all, in this country works. Healthcare, transport, education - all broken.
It is a stain on our national politics that we have five Gaza MPs. It is our national shame that our government is intent on sucking up to the Palestinian entity which contains some of the worst monsters on the face of planet. It is a disgrace that our Foreign Secretary shook the hand of the representative of the Iranian regime that has slaughtered tens of thousands of its own people, and that he doesn’t seem to understand why that photograph will damn him forever. It is embarrassing that we had a Foreign Office minister dancing with and hugging the representative of the Palestinian Authority. The lack of serious statesmanship is mind-boggling and indicative of how far we have fallen.
They say the past is a foreign country, but my goodness, do I miss the country I grew up in. I feel so sorry for the generation that grew up after 2000 and will never know how good it was. It’s not coming back.
I have no time for the demagogues and grifters who exploit this anger. I know other people feel the same as I do, and my goodness, do I understand why people are angry. For decades, those we have elected to govern in our interests have instead run our country into the ground.
And to cap it all, now we are led by fatuous, asinine, deeply unserious airheads who think serious governance is a TikTok video about pork scratchings, as the last vestiges of a coherent society die under the weight of their malignant frivolity.
The worst part of it is that there is absolutely nothing any of us can do about it. I just want to live in a happy, stable, prosperous country like we used to be, instead of one that is run by a state apparatus that does nothing but beat us down, obsess over irrelevances, take our money, and leave us poorer and less safe.
The problem is that Muslims are still carrying out all the worst excesses of their religion. Christianity stopped slavery centuries ago. Muslims keep slaves today. Christians no longer permit parents to sell their daughters into marriage. There are Muslim countries where 30% of girls are sold before they turn 18. Christians no longer marry children to adult men — and even when they did, it wasn’t consummated at 9 like Muslim marriages are today.
You point to the backwardness of the Christian past as if it justifies the barbarism of the Islamic present.Because of the religion you so aggressively promote, 8% of the human race is a girl or a woman who was sold into marriage to a Muslim man as a child and then raped by him. We’re not throwing old abuses in your face, Maliq. This is happening now, today, this very minute — and all you have as a response is to point at the distant past?
MUST-SEE U.N. CLASH: Iran declares it's a victim of “brutal aggression” — but then a survivor of the regime's January mass shooting of protesters takes the floor and tells the truth. Regime tries to interrupt and stop him from speaking, yet fails to silence Daniyal Eyvazi.

A shark killed one man this week.
Men killed three Australian women - YESTERDAY!
Only one of these scenarios will receive widespread attention - and no, it won't be the fact that three women are dead at the hands of men known to them in one day.
* A 70-year-old woman's body was found in a home at Mole River in NSW when police responded to an act of domestic violence yesterday, A 37-year-old male is in custody.
* A 23-year-old woman was stabbed to death in a home at Kooringal, NSW, yesterday.
* A 90-year-old woman was stabbed to death at Bondi Beach, NSW, yesterday.
* A Northern Territory woman was taken to hospital in critical condition yesterday and a man known to her is in custody.
* Early this week a woman died after an assault at Palmerston, NT. Her partner was charged with assault. An autopsy will determine if he is charged over her murder.
There's always been a huge disparity in how the media, politicians, policy-makers and our community responds to shark attacks compared to femicide.
We've seen hundreds of headlines published about the shark attack in Perth this past week but there's been very few published on the deaths of women this week.
I have documented the violent deaths of 52 women this year. Not once has a 'catch and kill' order been issued within hours of a woman's death at the hands of a man. No I am not suggesting femicide perpetrators be killed, but I am using this as an example of how hard authorities will go when a shark kills a person.
But it shows how authorities see the existence of wild animals as an urgent threat to public safety that require immediate preventative interventions.
Beaches are closed. Nets are put in place. Wild animals are tracked. Warnings are issued.
Political leaders come with flowers and sympathy.
When women are killed, we're asked 'what did she do to deserve it', the perpetrators score a 'good bloke narrative', political leaders have no words of condolence and calls for increased funding, support services and better legal responses fall on deaf ears.
Where there is a policy response, it always re-active and far too minimal.
We need strong investment in systemic prevention targeting perpetrators and sustained cultural and structural responses so we shift the drivers that underpin male violence against women in our country.

So what if a Muslim wins an election in America and becomes a congressman or senator? Why is that any different from a Buddhist winning an election?
Because Buddhism is a religion. Islam is a state.
Islam has a population: the ummah. It has a constitution: Sharia. It has courts, criminal law, family law, taxation, rules for minorities, doctrines of war and peace, and a foreign-policy framework governing relations between the land of Islam and the lands outside it.
The ummah is not tied to Egypt, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, or any other modern country. It crosses all of them.
Islam's population "Muslims" belong to one political-religious community.
That is fundamentally different from Buddhism.
A Buddhist American may practice Buddhism faithfully, but Buddhism does not give him a second universal political order with its own law, sovereignty, territorial doctrine, and theory of government.
Islam does.
This is why reducing Islam to “just another religion” misses the point.
Muslim officeholders are literally citizens of another existing country, and their loyalties can never be American first, because the two projects are contradictory.
Incredible.
Israeli Minister @AmichaiChikli’s message to the People of Britain:
“To the British people, let me be clear: we in Israel love you. And we are not remotely rattled by sanctions from your Foreign Secretary, whose name escapes me.
You have a weak left-wing government for now. But we have faith in our friends among the British public, those who still prize common sense.
Better days will come. We will stand together against the globalists and Islamists who seek to impose Sharia law on you.
And those days are coming soon. 🇮🇱🇬”
Schrodingers Progressivesism: the current state of the political Left, where society simultaneously knows what a woman is (when a foreign religion demands the women removed from men's spaces) and does NOT know what a woman is (when women demand men be removed from THEIR spaces).
This is not tenable
Free speech is on life support in the UK. The number of people being punished for comments they make online is one of the clearest signs that this country has a serious free speech problem.
More than 60,000 people have been arrested for communication offences over 5 years. This is a national embarrassment.
Writing in the Mail on Sunday, the Free Speech Union’s General Secretary, Lord Young of Acton, warns that unless the Government tackles this problem, we risk becoming “the North Korea of the North Sea”.
Rather than addressing the rise in shoplifting, mobile phone theft and sexual assault, the police are obsessing over “offensive” comments posted online.
Lord Young writes: “After all, it’s far easier and less dangerous to arrest a child or a pensioner for an ‘offensive’ social media post than it is to apprehend a man in the course of committing a violent crime.”
The directive to arrest people for social media posts instead of focusing on real crimes — policing tweets, not the streets — comes from the top. The result is a postcode lottery for free speech. According to a report by Big Brother Watch, some police forces made 14 times as many arrests per capita as neighbouring forces.
Just look at the case of Graham Linehan. The Irish comedian was arrested by five armed Metropolitan Police officers when he landed at Heathrow Airport over three gender-critical posts on X.
He was held in a cell overnight, questioned by police and even taken to A&E after his blood pressure rose dangerously high.
Graham’s case shocked the nation and attracted the attention of President Trump and his team. It was a national embarrassment. The Met subsequently announced that it would no longer investigate non-crime hate incidents, publicly apologised to Graham and paid him £25,000 in taxpayer-funded compensation.
The cancel-culture mob is more powerful than ever. Big Brother Watch is calling for an independent review of Britain’s free speech crisis, and the Free Speech Union endorses that proposal.
The explosion in online censorship is not only bad for democracy — it is also contributing to plummeting public confidence in the police.

The British Foreign Secretary @Ed_Miliband posts a video recounting “stories” he was told about Gaza.
If the Foreign Secretary were interested in facts rather than stories, he would know that there are no restrictions whatsoever on the entry of medicines into the Gaza Strip, and that no medicines are being blocked; that 22,500 tons of medical supplies have entered Gaza since the ceasefire began; and that Gazans exit the Strip for medical treatment, including 200 who did so in just the last two weeks.
And of course, the British Foreign Secretary is well aware of all this, as the UK is a member of the International Gaza Support Center, which facilitates the delivery of medical aid to the Gaza Strip.
But apparently, facts matter less (when making a video for a political audience).
UK PLC — HUMAN RESOURCES
TO: Prime Minister Andy Burnham
CC: Defence Secretary; Ministry of Defence
SUBJECT: Army Training Cancelled — Apparently War Is Too Expensive
Dear Management,
HR has received another exciting update from the people currently running the country.
The British Army is cutting major non-essential training exercises to save roughly £30 million.
Fantastic.
Management has spent months telling the workforce that Russia is an enormous threat, Europe must prepare for conflict and Britain needs to be ready.
We naturally assumed that somewhere in this strategy there would be a small administrative detail called:
TRAINING THE FUCKING ARMY.
Apparently not.
HR understands the revised British defence strategy is now:
Enemy approaches Britain.
Soldier: “HALT!”
Enemy continues advancing.
Soldier: “I said HALT!”
Enemy continues advancing.
Soldier produces the new Treasury-approved ACME Mk1 Assault Rifle™.
Pulls trigger.
POP!
A little flag comes out of the barrel saying:
BANG!
Enemy immediately collapses.
Not from gunfire.
From fucking laughter.
Meanwhile Britain can somehow find billions for Ukraine, maintain a substantial foreign-aid budget and spend billions dealing with the asylum system.
But £30 million so our own Army can practise operating together?
Steady on.
There’s a budget, you know.
And then there’s Russia.
Every other week:
RUSSIA!
Russia is coming.
Russia is dangerous.
Russia might attack NATO.
Russia might threaten Britain.
Prepare yourselves!
Stock emergency supplies!
Be vigilant!
But apparently if Russia could postpone Armageddon until after the next financial year, that would be enormously helpful because Dave from 3 YORKS hasn’t finished his exercise yet.
Perhaps HR might suggest something else.
STOP TELLING THE ENTIRE FUCKING WORLD.
Why does every British defence problem apparently require a press release?
We haven’t got enough ammunition.
We haven’t got enough soldiers.
Equipment is stretched.
Budgets are tight.
Training is being curtailed.
At this rate the MOD’s next announcement will be:
“FOR THE ATTENTION OF HOSTILE FOREIGN GOVERNMENTS:
The spare key is underneath the plant pot.
Please wipe your feet.”
Deterrence involves convincing potential enemies that attacking Britain would be an extremely poor life choice.
Continually advertising our weaknesses achieves approximately the opposite.
And while Management is busy shouting “RUSSIA!”, perhaps somebody could occasionally glance towards the South Atlantic.
Because Argentina can read newspapers too.
The Falkland Islanders don’t need politicians making grand speeches about defending British territory.
They need potential adversaries to know that Britain possesses the people, equipment, training and determination to defend it.
Which brings HR back to Andy.
Prime Minister, you spent years being known as Andy the Busman.
Congratulations on the promotion.
Unfortunately, you’re now driving a considerably larger vehicle.
And HR feels obliged to mention that repeatedly shouting—
“WE’RE ALL GOING TO BE ATTACKED!”
—while simultaneously removing the wheels from the fucking bus is generally considered poor fleet management.
So here’s an idea:
Fund Britain’s Armed Forces properly.
Train them properly.
Equip them properly.
Rebuild our ability to defend Britain and British territories.
And perhaps before another billion disappears overseas, check whether the people responsible for defending this country can afford to practise doing their jobs.
Because if Russia really is the threat Management says it is, saving £30 million on Army training is fucking ridiculous.
And if Russia isn’t…
stop using them as the bogeyman every time you need to frighten the workforce.
Kind regards,
Human Resources

The summer of 1976 ran fifteen consecutive days over 32 degrees, and a British child could walk into any kitchen in the country and find nothing in it he was able to eat.
Not nothing in the house. Nothing he could eat. The fridge held ingredients: milk, a bit of bacon, the end of Sunday under a plate, butter, a lump of cheese going hard at the edge. The cupboard held flour, tea, tins and sugar. Every item in that room needed an adult, a pan and a decision, and the adult had a running order and no interest in your opinion of it.
Sweets and crisps existed, obviously. They were not in the house. They were in the shop, bought one at a time with your own money if you had any, and eaten on the pavement within ninety seconds. Keeping a week of crisps in a cupboard would have struck your mother as a peculiar thing to do with money she did not have.
So eating happened three times, at fixed hours, sitting down:
- breakfast, cooked, before anyone left the house
- dinner at midday, at home or in a canteen
- tea at five or six, cooked
Ask at four and you were told you would spoil your tea, and that was the end of the conversation.
Which is how children went out of the door after breakfast in that heat and came home at teatime having eaten nothing at all, and not one adult thought it worth remarking on. Three meals inside eleven hours, then thirteen hours with nothing, every night of the hottest summer any of us can remember, in a country with no name for it, no watch that mentioned it and no opinion about it whatsoever.
Then it moved indoors. The multipack. The family bag. The vending machine in the corridor. The forecourt open till ten.
And the packet turned out to be an excellent mood regulator, which is exactly what it was built to be. Bored on a wet Tuesday, flat after a bad shift, sitting on your own with the telly going, and there is something within arm's reach designed by a food scientist to answer that precise feeling in under a minute. Boredom in 1976 got a bike, a job that wanted doing, or a cup of tea and whoever else was in the room.
Every parent now standing over an untouched dinner is losing an argument to a bag opened at four o'clock.
Your mother never had to win that argument. She decided what came into the house, and she has been replaced by a multipack.
Would you rather have clean electricity or cheap electricity?
What if you could have both?
It's no secret that Net Zero is making Britain poorer and weaker. But now, for the first time, experts have revealed the true impact Net Zero is having on our electricity prices.
@ukonward’s report is the most detailed analysis of our electricity system that has ever been done in British politics.
By crunching the numbers, they have calculated that if we scrapped Net Zero and focused on making electricity cheap instead, we would save consumers over £320 billion on their electricity bills by 2050.
That's the equivalent of around £540 for every household, every year, for the next two decades.
Our electricity would still be nearly 80% clean – some of the cleanest in the world, in fact – by using a bit more gas and a lot more nuclear. But it would also be much cheaper.
We have the highest electricity prices in the developed world – and that's bad for families, businesses, and the environment.
When I was appointed Energy Secretary in 2023, I started to uncover some of the true hidden costs of relying on wind and solar.
We need to pay for back-up power when the wind doesn't blow, and for the wind farms to turn off when it's too windy, and for all the pylons to transport the electricity from the offshore wind farms to where it's actually needed.
I was astonished that these costs, which end up on your bills, were being ignored.
That is when I realised Net Zero had to go.
I commissioned an official analysis of these costs because the public deserves to know the truth, too.
However, when Ed Miliband took over as Energy Secretary after the general election in 2024, he cancelled that analysis.
Why? Because he knew it would expose that his promise to cut your bills by £300 was always a fantasy. In fact, bills have gone up by £300 instead.
This major new report by Onward finished the work I started three years ago, taking into account the extra costs of renewables and showing that making electricity cheap is better for the environment.
Even by their own standards, Labour's Net Zero obsession is failing.
Most of our emissions come from cars and home heating. Yet sky-high electricity bills are making it impossibly expensive for ordinary people to choose cleaner alternatives.
The current approach means higher prices and higher emissions.
That is why Kemi Badenoch and I have changed the policy we inherited from our predecessors and pledged to scrap Net Zero and put cheap, reliable, abundant energy first.
