It simply had to happen, I suppose.
For a short time I had been permitted a certain lightness, a provisional happiness. Nature, or whatever force keeps the accounts in order, found this irregularity intolerable and promptly restored the proper balance. I was shown my place again.
Only if fitness is issue then and then only Riyan should be removed/step down from captaincy.. vice captain is immature to be vice captain let alone being captain.. And neglecting vc and naming new captain will only fuel social media heads to get vc even more disturbed..
Holding Mbeumo since GW1.. price dropped from 8.0 to 7.8, finally people realising he is consistent with data and points and now very likely to rise tonight..
This got me thinking, if we removed all the single outlier performances (top xG Gameweek) for each midfielder, where would they rank?
So I did the top 7 by xG so far, and added Palmer/Rogers for good measure...
Mbeumo: 3.95 - 1.76 = 2.19 (1st -> 2nd)
Saka: 3.62 - 1.38 = 2.24 (2nd -> 1st)
Tavernier: 2.89 - 1.19 = 1.70
Fernandes: 2.67 - 2.02 = 0.65
Hinshelwood: 2.33 - 1.41 = 0.92
Foden: 2.22 - 0.87 = 1.35
Gross: 2.16 - 0.82 = 1.34
Palmer: 1.45 - 0.66 = 0.79
Rogers: 2.06 - 0.96 = 1.10
Long story short, Mbeumo moves from 1st to 2nd place (behind the injured Saka) ๐ Ipswich game being removed does make a difference, but so does the outlier games for all the other options!
- Jaiswal out of T20I & ODI plans.
- Vaibhav isn't starting in T20Is.
- Naman Dhir is ending Parag's T20I career.
- Jurel plays Test only. Ishan is coming to challenge him for the second WK spot.
- Jadeja is past his prime. In Test scheme of things only.
- Bishnoi is struggling to find a place.
- Deshpande is not even in IND A schemes.
Tough times for RR fans.
Here it is how it happens..
Bournemouth after playing AC Milan on thursday and with Home atmosphere we beat them on Sunday..
and then scrappy draw or narrow loss against Chelsea.. Draw against Roma, And final game against Villa and announcment..
#mufc maintain they still support Michael Carrick. However, the shocking 4-1 defeat away to Como followed by criticism from United captain Bruno Fernandes, has piled pressure on Carrick.
It now feels like Sundayโs fixture against Bournemouth could be decisive in determining Carrickโs immediate future [@TeleFootball]
I am ready for any of the 3, apart from Hรผrzeler.. When Ole was signed i was really hoping it was Howe.. But He went to Newcastle just weeks before.. All 3 are amazing options to have.. Nagelsmann is something new to league and least sure amongst 3..
๐จ JUST IN - Fabrizio Romano on the THREE names that will be STRONGLY linked with the Man Utd managerial job if Carrick gets sacked:
"Antonio Conte, Julian Nagelsmann, and Fabian Hรผrzeler.
"Conte โ would be ready this year to take a job mid-season.
"Nagelsmann โ INEOS already considered him in the past, but he was under contract with Germany, but now he's FREE.
"Hรผrzeler โ United have someone in their board who REALLY appreciates him, but he's completely focused on Brighton.
"Also, Eddie Howe is FREE after leaving Newcastle, and he knows the league so well." [@FabrizioRomano, YT]
No player single handedly can take team sitting on 5 to 3.. Mbeumo(11), Cunha(10), Sesko(11), Casemiro(9), Carrick, were equally contributors to winnings..
Going after Bruno is wild to me! Given everything to the club the last 5 years and singlehandedly got us in the Champions League. Only to be rewarded with a summer of weakening the team and giving the manager's job to an inexperienced coaching team. Every right to be pissed off
It was players against Coach at ETH, It was players against Coach with Ole, it never went to this level of Captain vs Coach with Carrick and Bruno..
Only coach who had whole dressing room wanting to play for him until his last game in charge was Ruben Amorim..
๐จ๐จ| ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐: Eddie Howe is the FAVOURITE for Man United job. He is admired within Old Trafford and wants to return to the PL as SOON as possible. [@reluctantnicko] #mufc
๐จ BREAKING: Bruno Fernandes on Manchester Unitedโs pressing:
โItโs a decision from the staff to not press man-to-man and sometimes leave a little bit of space in behind.โ
[@footballontnt]
My biggest fear is that Ole who tried to get the job ahead of Carrick comes back again begging for a job.. please not Ole I could continue watching Carrick getting smashed if that's what it's going to take to keep Ole out..
"Be CAREFUL what you WISH FOR!" ๐ฌ
Pressure is mounting on Michael Carrick! And some of the fanbase are already calling for him to be SACKED! ๐ณ
However Goldbridge doesn't even trust the club to find the right replacement if Carrick were to go! Do you think Carrick should be sacked? ๐ค๐ #mufc
Ruben Amorim about not holding grudges & how he still LOVES Manchester United.
Whatever happened with the โpeople thereโ does NOT change anything about his love for the club.
