@zomatocare Dear @jagograhakjago @NCH1915 @DoC_GoI,

Please read the complete thread.

This isn't about ₹203.94.

It's about fairness, transparency and accountability.

@zomato, please answer the questions instead of closing the complaint with generic responses.

[Jan_Kalyan @JanKalyan14]

Dear @zomato, this is one of the worst customer support experiences I've had.

Order ID: #8407336609

The restaurant couldn't provide one of the items I ordered. I immediately requested cancellation, but your support forced me into an unfair situation.

@zomatocare This feels like a standard template response sent just to close the complaint—not to resolve it.

Customers deserve answers, accountability and transparency, not copy-paste emails.

[Jan_Kalyan @JanKalyan14]

@zomatocare I had requested cancellation the moment I was informed that an item wasn't available.

Why am I still paying the Platform Fee for an order that the restaurant itself couldn't fulfil?

[Jan_Kalyan @JanKalyan14]

@zomatocare The coupon in my order was a flat ₹120 discount.

The same ₹120 discount would have applied even if I had ordered only Dhokla.

Then why was the refund for the unavailable item reduced by allocating part of the coupon to it?

[Jan_Kalyan @JanKalyan14]

@zomatocare And now let's talk about the refund calculation.

You refunded ₹203.94, but nowhere have you explained how you arrived at this amount.

[Jan_Kalyan @JanKalyan14]

@zomatocare Your email says you'll improve your processes.

That's not what I asked.

I asked a simple question:

Was your support team right or wrong?

Please answer that.

[Jan_Kalyan @JanKalyan14]

@zomatocare I was kept waiting for nearly an hour.

Multiple agents.
Endless "Please wait."
Calls.
Transfers.
Chat closed without resolution.
Does @zomato really believe this is acceptable customer support?

[Jan_Kalyan @JanKalyan14]

@zomatocare My complaint was never about ₹203.94.

My complaint was:

Why was I denied complete cancellation when the restaurant itself couldn't fulfil my complete order?

Your email completely ignores this.

[Jan_Kalyan @JanKalyan14]

@zomatocare Seriously @zomato?

After all the inconvenience, repeated follow-ups, public escalation and social media attention, your official response still doesn't answer a single core question.

@zomatocare Dear @zomato @zomatocare,

It's disappointing that despite acknowledging my complaint publicly, no update has been shared so far.

I request you to resolve this matter instead of sending generic responses.

Dear @jagograhakjago @NCH1915 @DoC_GoI,

Please read the complete thread above before forming an opinion.

@zomato, this is not how customers should be treated. Please fix your support process and ensure customers aren't penalized for a restaurant's mistake.

[Jan_Kalyan @JanKalyan14]

I have complete chat screenshots showing the entire timeline, including repeated delays, transfers and the chat being closed without resolution.

Please review this case and provide a fair resolution.
