@introversitive @RodgerFromYutan @AiG If you don't know how many cookies are in the cookie jar, when asked if you believe the number of cookies in the cookie jar is even, and you say "no", it doesn't mean you think the number of cookies in the cookies jar is odd.
@AiG You don't know what atheism is.
To most atheists, atheism is merely the rejection of the claim of theism.
Not a religion, no beliefs, no followers.
@allhesson @RegTheDude @Darw1nEvolution @AiG No it isn't. They're pointing out something they know about an organization. You ignored it and just looked at "stupid".
@allhesson @RegTheDude @Darw1nEvolution @AiG If there's no debate on a topic, then that means that the professionals in the field generally agree. That's not scary at all. It's perfectly reasonable.
@DWade80865164@kayroz5@PeteButtigieg I appreciate the sentiment, but I would like to correct you. Atheism is not a belief system. To most atheists, it's simply the rejection of the claim of theism.
@allhesson @RegTheDude @Darw1nEvolution @AiG It's not "just about choice". It's not like choosing an ice cream flavor. Humanity has a large body of knowledge is various fields and professionals in those fields are the best able to provide us with the most reliable models of our world. God doesn't fit in that model.
@allhesson @RegTheDude @Darw1nEvolution @AiG Yea, but you can make an educated choice about who to trust. When it comes to evolution, there is virtually no debate among the professionals.
For the amount we spent on war last year, we could have funded:
โ806,711 Elementary School Teachers
โ880,199 Clean Energy Jobs
โ1.17 million Infrastructure Jobs
โ7.32 million Head Start Slots
โor 1.85 million full college scholarships
Don't tell me we can't "afford" it.
@Rom5_8@KarenLynne2828 @GardenGirl1974 @Franklin_Graham@hallmarkchannel So, what I was pointing out, is that is one you are told that fools don't like wisdom, but in then are told not to rely on said wisdom. It sounds like you are being told to be fools. It sounds ambiguous.
