1/ Vladimir Putin's speech to the United Russia Party Congress on 28 June has received a frosty reception online from Russian Telegram commentators and users. The most commonly used reaction emoji used by readers of related posts is a clown 🤡, while bloggers are sceptical. ⬇️
When Ukrainian defenders say they care for every life, they mean it.
A wounded defender evacuated a small kitten, even in the chaos that followed on the battlefield. No man is left behind, big or small.
The tiny infantryman has already found his new home and loving family.
Täytyy sanoa että samaa mieltä. Putin ei anna periksi koska se olisi kuolemaksi. Pitää tehdä selväksi Kremlin piirille, että ei kannata ripustautua Putiniin, koska se on heille kuolemaksi.
1/ In possibly the most predictable outcome ever, a Russian former soldier who made a video appealing to Vladimir Putin to meet with him to avert an army rebellion over abuses on the front line has been jailed for "propagating extremist symbols". ⬇️
In Novorossiysk. Nobody is going anywhere.
The Novorossiysk Sea Port is the largest russian port on the Black Sea, through which oil and oil products are exported, but there's no gasoline. 😂😂😂
Great 3-day SMO guys 👏👏👏
Today, Denmark’s Minister of Defense Jeppe Bruus is in Ukraine for the first time since his appointment. This is a very important signal of support for our people.
We discussed preparations for the Drone Deal. Our teams have been working on the agreement, and it is almost ready. The Minister and I share the view that the Drone Deal between Ukraine and Denmark should be concluded as soon as possible. We paid special attention to joint work on anti-ballistic capabilities. Europe’s capabilities in this area must be strengthened.
We also discussed the contents of the next, already 30th, support package. I am grateful for the assurances that Denmark’s new government will continue its policy of strong support for Ukraine and our people.
🇷🇺 Russia says that their new Starlink like satellites will humble Ukraine in 2027.
In the meantime, 400 Ukrainian Angry Birds are on their way to Russia to encourage them to end the war this year. ⬇️🇺🇦⬇️
Moskau.
In fact, it’s quite frightening to even try to imagine what would be happening to Ukraine right now if we had not taken the path of continuing the development of the drone revolution.
If we had continued, as before, being forced to beg for months and years for the provision of every type of weapon and every missile, and remained hostage to endless professional “anti-escalation” advocates with their absurd and irrational restrictions on the use of weapons against Russia, as well as hostage to endless erratic demagogues and ultra-populists who would be ready to feed all of Europe to Putin just to get into power.
I don’t think Ukraine would still be able to hold out against such an uneven enemy, who was also absurdly protected for years from strikes against its military machine and economy “to prevent World War III,” if it were not for the drone revolution.
This is an immensely significant achievement of Ukraine and its allies.
Air alerts declared in the whole of Crimea. Explosions also reported in occupied Sevastopol. Hundreds of Ukrainian drones are heading for occupied and Russian territory. #Russia
⛽️ Rublyovka. One of the most expensive places near Moscow, where almost the entire Russian elite lives.
There are huge queues and fuel shortages even there.
Magyar's update:
Crimean air defense falling like autumn leaves, the power grid headed for the scrapyard, and fuel going up in smoke. The USF Birds are expanding their presence deep inside the enemy’s rear in the temporarily occupied territories.
Between June 1 and June 29, the USF Birds hunted down 31 enemy air defense assets (SAM systems and radars). May’s result has not yet been reached – 36 air defense assets were sung their last rites then. But there are still two days left, so there’ll be a hell of a rain.
Between January and June 2026, pilots of the USF Group destroyed 194 enemy air defense assets. Since the Group’s formation on June 11, 2025, they have eliminated 276 enemy air defense assets:
• 169 SAM and SAM/gun systems
• 76 radar systems (+426 mobile radars)*
• 31 electronic warfare systems (+3,838 mobile EW systems)*
* Mobile radars and mobile EW systems are not considered part of the enemy’s integrated air defense system; they provide point protection.

Moscow Times reports Putin accused the West of trying to "get rid of Russia" and promised to ensure the "inviolability of borders"
The West is "testing Russia's mettle" and wants to "get rid of it", but it won't succeed, President Vladimir Putin said. According to him, the country "confidently resists all attempts to restrain our development". "We have enough strength, resources, and political will. No one should have any doubts about this," he said at the United Russia congress.
Against the backdrop of the ongoing fifth-year war with Ukraine, Putin admitted that Russia is going through a "difficult phase", but added that it has "taught us a lot" and allowed us to understand the essence of being a Russian citizen.
The president assured that the authorities are aware of the problems, including attacks on infrastructure, and are responding to them. He promised to ensure the country's security, the safety of citizens, and the "inviolability of Russian borders for a long historical perspective".
Putin also stated that "Russia can only be a strong, independent power or there will be no Russia at all". According to him, as soon as the country shows weakness, "it immediately loses respect".
Against this backdrop, the president called on the people to unite, noting that it is "internal unity", which Russia's opponents are trying to "shake, undermine, and cast doubt on", that has always been the source of its strength.
