@twostraws@adamlyttleapps Yup, Fable 5 pushed the envelope of what's possible. Before it was suspended it was even better, I briefly interacted with it a day before the ban and it blew my mind
@jeremyphoward Yup. I got a feeling that it got completely lazy. It gives wrong answers and comes up with elaborate explanations that have zero backing in sources/code.
@seanallen_dev Sorry to hear that Sean. Your courses and YT channel helped me immensely and set me on the iOS path a couple of years ago. All the best!
@everton_dev (2/2) So I thought that I'll leave it for now (development-wise) and come back to it later with more functionality. Third thing: the app space that I tried to break into is just so heavily saturated and the leader in that category clears each and every one of those apps by a mile
@everton_dev First and foremost, the positioning of my app was absolutely horrendous. I did zero research on the keywords, the app lacked visibility. Second, I took a hard look at the app and, in general, the value proposition wasn't there to fully justify the price (9.99/yr) (1/2)
@everton_dev Absolutely. The switch to a hard paywall usually is the easiest path to negative reviews. But being completely honest, my second app had a hard paywall and it really didn't really change the game that much.
I reckon $1 Billion ARR is gonna happen faster than anyone can imagine. 11Labs is an absolute rocket ship and the way the company disrupts the audio space with constant innovation (and insane execution!) makes it clear to me that they are heading for even bigger revenue than $1b
@everton_dev Hey, but you still got $19! In general I feel that right now it's very hard to have paying customers. People use very few apps and they really think through every purchase.
