TTYD was great but I prefer Mario and Luigi combat than TTYD because you can dodge most attacks with no damage while you get damaged even when blocking in ttyd. Also only having 15 items in hand and no fast travel was really bad especially during chapter 8.

Really enjoying LM2HD forgot how I loved this game on 3DS. Also notice changes like renders, UI been enhanced a bit and a new title screen

My only criticism for Paper Mario TTYD is there is no fast travel in the map so if you run out of items in Chapter 8 you have to exit that long as world just to buy items and re-enter just for the enemies to return.
