TWO NEW WITNESSES AGAINST FORMER SPEAKER MARTIN ROMUALDEZ?

WATCH: Senate President Pro Tempore Ping Lacson says two resource persons will testify on Monday about controversial contractor Curlee Discaya’s alleged role in the property purchase of former House Speaker and Leyte Rep. Martin Romualdez.

Lacson, chairman of the Blue Ribbon Committee, adds that their affidavits are now being drafted.

“Totoo yung sinasabi na hindi naman nakapangalan kay Curlee Discaya yung bahay pero merong magtetestify… magbibigay sila ng detalye kung ano yung naging role ni Discaya tungkol doon sa bilihan ng bahay,” Lacson says.

Lacson earlier said that if proven, this would establish a link between Romualdez and the Discayas. Romualdez has denied the allegation | @eimorpsantos
