The kid in the video is Jaycee's brother Blake-he had just spoken with Jaycee prior to the door camera clip, as Jaycee told Blake he was going into the laundry room to grab some clean laundry, etc. Except, after some time, he never came out of that room, which prompted Blake to call their mom, who was already on her way home from work. Blake was worried that something seemed off.
When their mom arrived home, she went into the laundry room and found that Jaycee had taken his life. Jaycee came out to his classmates a few weeks beforehand. They responded negatively, and their persistent severe harassment and relentless bullying is what led Jaycee to take his own life.
It's fucking terrible, his family immediately accepted him and he had a loving home life, but the way his peers treated him. I wish bullying was taken more seriously--it's not just teasing, it really takes a toll on people's mental health. I just have no words :(
a statement from their mother hit hard as well: "I truly believe with the world being much kinder, I would have 6 living children, not 5."
Just arrived at the airport from an overseas trip. No coupon taxis, no metered taxis, no Grab. Wala rin tayong mga bus at tren dito. Basically kung wala kang sundo, you’re dead. It’s been an hour and counting. This is what a broken transpo system looks like 💀

Thank you to the U.S. Department of State for this recognition.
But more than the recognition, I hope this helps raise awareness.
If we want better long-term governance, we need to fight corruption. We have to denormalize it, get it out of our culture.
