This picture is a time capsule to an era where top QB recruits were not managed by a team of private trainers, nutritionists and agents while attending camps all through the winter and spring
Way more kids are nearing their ceiling by the time they enroll now
Best feeling ever when you had enough coins to buy Valderrama back in FIFA 16.
Terrible in game but the fact you had a legend could never be topped
That’s exactly why the game is so dead now. The excitement has been ripped out of it
Say what you will about Vini but he almost singlehandedly restored the animosity of Clasicos man post Messi/CR7. I'm like Maffeo - I actually respect Vini because even though he's annoying he's authentic, unlike Jude.
La Fabrica stocks are booming. We need to capitalize and send out as many as possible to gain top flight experience. Holding them back at Castilla to toil in 3rd tier will be a mistake.
back then winning copa america and tournament mvp couldn’t even get you a ballon d’or nomination, but messi was given the award over lewandowski in 2021 because of this same trophy lmao
everything he won is tainted by favoritism and corruption… “greatest of all time” my ass
🎬 Obsession (2026)
Bear never loved Nikki. In fact, he was the one who was truly obsessed.
The moment he realized that Willow’s one-wish stick had actually worked, the first thing he did was fuck Nikki. That alone reveals what he really wanted: not Nikki as a person, but a version of her who would behave exactly as he desired.
Nikki tried to warn him. She left messages on his lunchbox telling him that the woman with him was not really her, yet he chose to ignore it.
Later, when things spiraled out of control and Bear contacted the helpline, the person on the other end asked whether he wanted to speak to the real Nikki. Nikki could be heard screaming in the background, but Bear disconnected the call. Once again, he ignored her suffering because acknowledging it would have forced him to confront what he had done.
When Nikki silently begged him to kill her while the entity controlling her body was asleep, Bear still made the situation about himself. He asked, “Is it really that bad being with me?” Even after Nikki told him that she had never actually been with him because the person living with him was not her, he ignored what she was saying. Instead of helping her, he went to meet another girl who had a crush on him.
That is why I do not believe Bear ever cared about Nikki’s consent. He did not want to love her; he wanted to possess her. He wanted her only in the form that pleased him.
Even during the climax, when he swallowed the pills in an apparent attempt to sacrifice himself, he changed his mind within minutes and tried to vomit them out. His own death frightened him more than Nikki’s continued suffering.
Technically, Bear did not free Nikki. Nikki freed herself by using the Wishing Willow. Her wish caused Bear to lose control, forget about the pills he had taken, and eventually die.
Bear was not the victim of the story. He did not simply suffer the consequences of a bad decision. He was punished for repeatedly choosing his own desires over Nikki’s freedom, consent, and humanity.
In the end, Obsession is not a tragic love story. It is a story about selfishness, possession, and a man who mistakes control for love.
'Enzo Fernández became only the sixth player to be sent off in a World Cup final (and the third Argentine) and truly, nobody deserved it more.
'This is the man who, in 2024, was mired in a racism controversy when he broadcast a video on Instagram Live showing himself and Argentina team-mates singing a discriminatory chant about France’s players, mocking their African heritage and throwing in a few homophobic slurs.
'The Chelsea co-captain further endeared himself to his adopted land before the final, insisting that he had respect for the English “because everybody who cleans and cooks in our house is English”.'
But in a profoundly chastening final for Argentina, where they were not so much outplayed as emasculated, @oliverbrown_tel says he received his comeuppance at last 👇

Ballon D'or is an individual award, just not when it's Mbappé's era. He has been the best player in the world for YEARS. Everyone knows it, Ballon D'or or no Ballon D'or. There is a huge gap between him and the second best player. He is the only constant.
