In Smart's case, her story is somewhat similar to mine only that she was threatened death if she didnt allow her assailant to do as he wanted. No wonder she froze. Don't blame the victim, ever.

I tried to fight back the forst time I was assaulted but got strangled and crushed more, and the second time I was assaulted I froze due to being triggered by the first one. You don't KNOW what a

And according to my 10 months in trauma based therapy, freezing is a natural, survivalistic response some survivors have.
