If you feel like you’re behind.
If you feel like you’re losing.
If you’re not sure if it’s going to work.
There’s nothing wrong with you.
Welcome to entrepreneurship.
Winners are losers who tried one more time after failing, continued when others told them to give up, and believed it could work before there was any good reason to.
Most people know exactly what to do to reach their goals.
The problem isn’t a lack of information.
It’s a lack of execution.
You get more done by starting than spending half your day deciding where you’re gonna start.
The whole “must be nice” saying is a lie.
Anyone who’s ahead of you works like they’re coming from behind, because they are.
They’re just working double time behind someone even bigger.
Everyone is under-slept, overworked, has too many responsibilities and too little time.
It’s not about how many obstacles you’ve got, it’s about winning anyways.
Things to never apologize for:
Telling the truth
Alone time
Taking a risk and failing
Saying what you want
Rest
Time with family
Taking time to prep
Your beliefs
If you did something wrong, own it. But never apologize because just someone demands it. Their problem. Not yours.
Being negative is a virus more contagious than any fatal virus.
It can cause a dreamer to quit
It can destroy a startup.
It can cost you GREAT relationships.
Most negative people are not aware they’re negative.
There’s not a COVID test type to check negativity.
We’re all human beings (except for the both on X).
You’re not a machine to be emotionless.
Being positive is not easy.
It takes work and effort.
It starts by first being aware you may have negative tendencies.
Then decrease the amount of minutes or hours a day that you have negative thoughts.
Some use being negative to say it’s their way of being paranoid.
There’s a big difference between being paranoid like a general to keep an eye out on things versus being negative with everything.
One should know the difference.
Whatever you do, Fight like hell to stay positive.
Life is both unfair and winnable at the same time.
Just because you start down doesn’t mean you have to stay down.
You can be dealt a bad hand AND still win the game.
And the worse the hand, the better the win.
Everything you’ve ever wanted is on the other side of 10 years of uncertainty, rejection, and suffering.
It just comes down to wanting what you’re after more than you hate all the things you gotta do to get it.
How your friends react when you win is far more telling than how they react when you lose.
Anyone can pity someone who’s down.
But only a real friend can see you win and celebrate.
In the Bible, before God gave Adam a wife, he gave him a job.
We’re made to work.
For all of human history except for the last 75 years, we have worked until we die.
Retirement is a new concept that’s fooled the masses.
The goals we achieve die with us.
Meaning the work we do, not we achieve from it, is the only goal that really mattered to begin with.
Work isn’t the way to achieve the goal.
It is the goal.
It’s not about winning this month.
It’s about not giving up for a year and seeing how different your life is 12 months from now.
Then doing it again for another 12 months.
Then another.
Then you look around and everyone keeps asking you how you did it.
When in reality it never *happened* - you just never stopped.
