I'm Uzumaki, a beginner artist who started learning almost a month ago.

I was inspired by the post below to share my progress so far.
But instead of Makima, I drew Power. Clearly my taste in anime girls is superior.

@meemopng whenever i drew something specifically to post it sucked, because i felt forced to do it and if it flopped, my art felt wasted. It drained all fun out of it. took a break. now i just draw exclusively for myself and post it if i feel like it. As long as im happy, twt is irrelevant

maybe at some point i can post a couple exerts of my sketchbook, since there is a lot of stuff im really proud of in there now. But post of singular art pieces that are just me sketching other art into my sketchbook??

btw im still drawing, i just kinda exclusively do redraws in my sketchbook for practice atm and i don't feel comfortable posting those anymore, as it feels to much like plagiarism.

Even if i credit the og artist i still dont wanna piggyback of other peoples art like that anymore

im just spam posting rn to make up for literally not opening this hellhole for 2 months. no one's gonna see these anyway, but it still does suck to pretty much have to build up an entirely new following everytime, because leaving for weeks kills all momentum post wise....

ok so like...im MOSTLY done with the graduation stuff, but that doesn't mean i found the time to draw again JUST yet....cuz im preparing to live in Japan for a year and there's so much to do and all that so...yea

also the cosplay didn't turn out that good, so im gatekeeping it

I'm not dead i swear. I'm still in the middle of graduating highschool and had decided to try and stop using this plattform outside of posting art because it was a MAJOR distracting while studying.

Expect new drawings by the end of May!

@EndlessUzumaki Its a nice thing at first, but always try to be motivated by your own fun too.
When i had that mentality of „id let people down if i didnt post“ i ended up burning myself out, forcing myself to draw and eventually lost the fun in drawing.
Its the reason i went on a 1 year hiatus
