@dangreenheck The boat model I'm gonna put into this water is gonna make you a little sad. I need to spend some time with the AI Web GPU skill you made and provided.
This is by far the most impressive thing I've ever seen on the web!
Bro, what happens if I use your ocean to make Sea of Thieves in the browser, and somehow it actually becomes successful?
Every customer of yours adds increased surface area for the ocean code to be stolen.
Hell, my entire game will probably just be consumed if it's at all fun or unique.
I dont follow beef, I defaulted to beef for views from lazy opinion formation that is not mine. Wont happen again mb.
The game dev polish is endless, though. Here's 4 pictures. Pitch is Noita combat + exploration with deep rock galactic cave generation, with airships with a drop pod that you can drop into the cave. Kill stuff with cool spell combinations. Build your ship and fly around the surface. Single player.
Getting it to actually be an experience is a grind though.
I'm at the Make it exist point, then make it look good. Seemingly always at the make it run Good point as well.
Three JS WebGPU. 60 second load time for now.
I think what you build is really cool robot.
@markspall All good, I'd take a break, dude. Building with AI can microwave your brain if you do it for too long. Its so much fun and you get so much information and progress that it makes you forget to take good breaks.
@markspall It does look better on my laptop, which is ironic because my laptop is a Lenovo without a graphics card and my desktop has a 4090, both Windows. Let me know if there's a specific log you want me to send your way.
@markspall This is awesome! Love the Soundtrack!
Only thing is I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do.
I've ran into the same trap of spending months building something only to realize im the only one who knows how to use it.
Still a vast world to explore!
