During Monday’s snowstorm, a Waterloo #MTOOfficer observed a tractor‑trailer on #Hwy401 with an unstable wheel, emitting heavy smoke.
Inspection revealed a fully cracked rim, deflated suspension, brakes out of adjustment, and an expired safety.
Charges laid; wheel‑off prevented
Slow down, move over – it’s the law!
All drivers are required to reduce speed, proceed with caution, and, if safe, change lanes to make way for emergency vehicles, including #MTO enforcement vehicles.

At approximately 4:50pm on Friday January 31,2020 1 District (St. Catharines) uniform officers were called to the Bank of Montreal on King St in @St_Catharines following the report of an armed robbery
An OPP officer directing traffic at a collision scene on #Hwy6 was struck while he was outside of his police vehicle. He has been taken to hospital with unknown injuries.
