Deepest gratitude to my producer, @SirJackSplash, for the brilliant collaboration and making sure these songs saw the light of day. A major honor.
Seattle didn’t just lose a basketball icon.
We lost a man who believed in people — on the court and in the community.
Thank you, Lenny Wilkens, for everything you gave this city. 💚💛
As families and friends across the U.S. share a meal, I think about what a woman I interviewed last week in Mississippi told me: “Every vegetable, every fruit, every meat on the plates of the American people was harvested or processed by immigrants.”
The NYT’s commitment to this line is so tiresome, not to mention increasingly ludicrous.
Gaza is in ruins. 70% of the dead are women & children. Israel is openly planning annexation of the West Bank and resettlement of Gaza.
What “dialogue and debate” is there left to have?
BREAKING: New York has passed #Prop1!
New Yorkers used their vote to permanently protect abortion statewide, and showed up for LGBTQ, immigrant, and disabled New Yorkers by approving the most progressive and comprehensive state Equal Rights Amendment in the country.
The abortion rights measure in Florida 'lost' with 57% of the vote and 1.5 million more votes than the opposition.
And for what it's worth: Amendment 4 got a million more votes than Ron DeSantis did in 2022
NEWS: The Boeing factory workers’ strike is over. After spending 53 days on strike, 59% of @IAM751 members have voted to accept their new contract.
The new four-year contract includes: 38% raises, $12k signing bonuses, an 8% match 401(k), and more.
Strikes work.
Quincy Jones, who exerted a huge influence on American popular music, died Sunday at 91. Jones spent his formative musical years in Seattle, and always expressed a warm and lasting loyalty to the city.

Quincy Jones. The master musician. The master arranger. The master talent whisperer.
The inspiration is endless. I wouldn’t be doing this if not for his immense influence and contributions.
The very best of American music.
What a life well lived.
Thank you, Mr. Jones!
