"Is God talking to Gabby through Michael, or is he suffering a schizophrenic episode?" Bobby LePire listens to both sides of the religious debate in The Great And Terrible Day Of The Lord.

I just checked and it turns out there’s no rule that says a dog CAN’T become pope. 🤞 otherwise, I have a great idea for a new Air Bud sequel if Disney wants to reach out
@robcantor You guys have made this the best the weekend I’ve had in a long time! All I need now is a fully produced Mr President There’s an Asteroid Headed Directly for the Earth: The Musical and I can die happy.
@Disney, Here’s how to save your franchises: Give Paul King a Mickey Mouse movie, Lord & Miller a Pixar movie, @DannyTRS a Star Wars movie, Greta Gerwig the live action Frozen, and Justin Benson & Aaron Moorhead the new Avengers movies. Lmk if you want me to be CEO or whatever.
@StephenKing I’m currently reading Danse Macabre. It’s good to see your feelings on Ghost Story haven’t changed! I’d be very curious to hear a follow up on the modern A24-style “prestige” horror phenomenon. Does it still fit in with the narcissism trend of post Haunting horror?
Okay, but the way The Killer freehand drew that recycle sign on his badge…if he wants to give up the assassin life, he might have a career as an artist ahead of him.
With Road Runner-like speed, WB has reversed its decision to bury 'Coyote vs. Acme'
The studio will now allow director Dave Green to shop his film to other potential buyers instead of shelving the project for a tax write off: https://t.co/L5cx3cxiiJ
Per @MattBelloni, Warner Bros. is going to let the filmmakers shop COYOTE VS. ACME to other buyers. This is a BIG win for the movie’s cast & crew and more proof that public shaming works.
@BrianDuffield With successful lawsuits against studios for lost residuals from movies pivoted to streaming, is there a case here for lost residuals, lost reel, missed work potential on projects that would have released, etc? Maybe eating up some of that $30mm in damages will send a message.
I like this. If you kill an entire movie just for a tax write-off, it becomes public domain and anyone can screen it publicly. Because the taxpayers paid for it.
@JukeboxtheGhost Sometimes I worry that @BenThornewill’s Freddie Mercury impression is so good that it distracts from how spot on @TommySiegel’s David Bowie impression is.
You know how some bands make kid friendly covers of classic rock songs to introduce them to The Beatles or whatever early? I need contemporary artists to cover The Wiggles & the like. Some of these songs are bangers but I just can’t add Super Simple Songs to my playlist.
I’ve really never seen a truer four quadrant movie than #BARBIE my audience was the most diverse I’ve ever been in. Sold out on a Wednesday with the full spectrum of people from 4-5 years old to the elderly. Gerwig accomplished something truly rare & remarkable! Also I liked it.
I don’t think there’s an advancement medical science could possibly make that would allow me to live long enough to use up all these plastic bags I keep tying into knots and saving. But I just keep adding them to the closet.
