So you’re telling me seven dogs got stolen,

thrown into a truck, escaped while it was moving

and still found their way back home together like nothing happened

This happened in China, in a small village near Changchun

- Seven dogs
- All from the same place
- They grew up together
- Played together
- Knew the same streets

One day they get taken. loaded into a truck meant for a dog meat shop

Somehow they escape while the truck is still moving

No one knows exactly how but suddenly they’re out

And instead of running in different directions

They stay together

They move like a group

At the front a corgi

In the middle a German shepherd injured from the escape

the rest surround him, protect him, slow down for him

Then the rest

- golden retrievers
- labradors
- a small pekinese

all moving together

17 kilometers

Through highways
cars passing at full speed
open fields
roads they shouldn’t even cross

People try to stop them

They ignore everyone

Then finally, they make it back, all seven back to the same village

Back to their owners
