@BRamseyKSR Talent is marginally better but could better fit , like synergy, be a multiplier to team success? This is a good year IMO to see marks coaching chops. Assuming no locker room issues, pope needs to show us what he was brought here to do. Be an X and O coach that can elevate a team

@_bigtime25 @KyleTuckerCBB Shoot ..just have Jrob who gave it to TN twice and your in the E8 .. Pope isn’t perfect but the media needs to lay off until he can have one relatively healthy season. I’m sure they bashed Hurley, golden, and Lloyd when their first 3-5 years were similar or worst

@Wildcat_wave We are missing proven star power.. but there are guys on this team that have star potential.. don’t think we are giving Wilkins, Moreno, or diallo enough credit for what they could be.would obviously like proven.. “ if” Pope is a good coach he will get the best out of them

@ReturnOfTheCats Fair point. Pope was hired because of his system and coaching that elevates players.. we saw this his first year..by not getting stokes or equivalent,he’s definitely gonna put that to the test this year. So hopefully his system elevates Wilkins.. all eggs are in the guards basket

@ReturnOfTheCats This team has has two 3-level scoring guards that can pass. I think that gives them an edge if pope can add some shooting and some defensive pieces . Moreno needs to take that jump but McBride and Ndiaye together give you a more athletic Carr .. this team less experience though

@KentuckyF34638 Yes!.. I mentioned a few weeks ago make him a priority over stokes. He fits zoom action wayyy better.. with the guards we got coming in that hopefully collapse defenses he could feast. Don’t think we are on his shortlist but you give him enough money he can’t say no

@BBN4_L @PoohsillyOBear @KyleTuckerCBB I mean we need someone in the 3-4 position range like stokes so yeah it’s a miss.. but imo Pope has his best 1 &2 guard that he has had coming. These guys are true 3 level scorers that can pass . So yeah we have a need right now but it is not desperation

@MeManBoy0 Yep.. these players are assigned a value and it varies team to team. Freeman was the example. We had plenty and more than enough money to match or win. But made the decision we could find better value elsewhere. Just have to see if the valuations end up being correct
