@edwardkoenning Ha. That era led to some awesome travel stories. You figure at that point even if you won, you’d probably lose money on the trip so anyone there was there to hang out with their friends. I remember dudes hopping in giant station wagons with 8 people, borrowing gas the whole way
@boardistan The Lumberyard indoor MTB park in Portland got torn out last year and the building was converted into “The People’s Courts” which is a massive indoor Pickleball, ping pong and corn hole facility which just opened. Seems to be a running theme.
@JamieMphoto I found a Nikon 8008 a little while back and had forgotten how loud the autofocus on some of those 90s era cameras was. If my modern camera made a noise like that I’d be terrified.
