@adler_hanson Here is my best 2 shots from Hollister/Loveland 4/30/24. 1st is the large strong EF1 Tornado, the second is a small brief spin up right before the large one
4/30/24 This Photo shows the appox. beam height of the Hollister Tornado at 9:51pm. By my math, the beam height is about 860ft, accounting for elevation difference, radar height, tilt angle(0.5 deg), and earths curvature. #okwx#tornado
@tornadochaserwx@NWSNorman SE 45th st and SE Dorchester Dr. There was probably bigger stones, but these were a good representation of the of what I could see and grab in about 20 seconds of looking
@MaxArcherWX It was definitely a separate rotation from the large one. My photo makes it look like there might be a bit of debris cloud on the ground. If the NWS timing and location of the start are correct for the big 1 the last few photos should see it on the left side straight up the road.
Here is a loop of my photos from right before and possibly the beginning of the large Hollister tornado. In the beginning, you can see a pretty good funnel. I am unsure if it ever made it to the ground. Time range is 9:28 to 9:37. From 2.8 Miles SE of Hollister
@NWSNorman@NWSNorman Has there any indication that the brief couplet and funnel ever made it to the ground just north of Hollister? It would have been around 9:28pm on 4/30/24. I was a bit aways from it but it looks like there might have been ground rotation, but it’s hard to tell.
@jameselove2@zattowangai@OKTornadoDB The beam height is about 850ft above the ground where the tornado happen. Even though it’s close to the radar it’s still reading pretty high up
Here is an animated video of my photos from the Hollister Tornado. I don't have a mount in my Car so the framing is not great. I have stabilized as much as I can in post. #okwx#hollister#Tornado

I calculated the tornado width to be 1120 yards, very close to the NWS findings. Feel free to check my math. The camera is a Sony A6400, at 16mm and a distance of 2.9miles. The pixel width of the tornado is about 900 pixels. #okwx
#okwx Here are my photo from my impromptu storm chase tonight in SW OK the 1st 2 photos were taken at 9:32pm and the 2nd 2 were at 9:53pm. I was between Hollister and Loveland Looking north at the rotation. @NWSNorman@ReedTimmerUSA#tornado
@AngelAndHisWx I looked for it a bit but I was north of it and the rain was too heavy. If I had tried to take some pictures I might have been able to see it but I was not comfortable staying there so I left and called it quits for the night
