2nd night of moon/planet/stargazing with my son, through the @ExploreSci telescope we got from @CloudBreakOptic. I figured out how to use the phone adapter this time, but didn't think to save in RAW. π₯ ... Tweaked the contrast & such with the @pixlr app.
@sly_sparkane In my experience, this issue is meant to confuse, muddy & draw out an argument.
When I dig down to their actual argument, it's that radio can't reach 240,000 miles, because their own cell reception can be spotty just a few miles from a cell tower.
@Lenny_knowsalot@TheGlobeIsDead Haze. Thin clouds.
It was foggy on my commute a couple days ago. I was able to see the sun through the fog. I did not think it was between me and the fog. Would you have?
You have no argument. You cannot show me where you think the clouds go behind the moon or sun.
@Lenny_knowsalot@TheGlobeIsDead All I'm doing is asking u to clearly point out where the clouds are that u say are behind the sun or moon, and to state whether u do or do not understand that bright objects can shine through thin haze.
I'm not playing games. Just trying to get honest, clear answers out of u.
@Lenny_knowsalot@TheGlobeIsDead I keep answering that I see haze.
YOU are the one who refuses to answer whether you understand or not that low haze exists or that bright objects can shine through thin haze.
@Lenny_knowsalot@TheGlobeIsDead Why lie here, Lenny?
I asked this question. You refused to answer it and instead pivoted and asked me a question, expecting me to show you more courtesy than you showed me.
@Lenny_knowsalot@TheGlobeIsDead I see no defined clouds. I see haze. I see a bright object through the haze, and I understand that especially in an over exposed photo, a bright object can render thin haze transparent.
How do you not understand these concepts?
@Lenny_knowsalot@TheGlobeIsDead A screenshot from the video you said shows clouds behind the sun. Not another meme with the sun shining through more thin clouds near the horizon... I can't fathom how people actually think they are seeing the sun below the horizon. π€¦π»
