Forecast update for Saturday early morning into Sunday: the main window for heavier rain and thunderstorms has shifted later and now runs 4 a.m. Sunday to noon.

Most of the city should see 0.25 to 0.5 inches. Localized spots could pick up 1 to 2 inches, with downpours near an inch per hour. The threat of significant flooding has come down from earlier forecasts, though urban and poor drainage flooding is still possible.

A marginal risk for strong to severe thunderstorms runs Sunday morning after 8 a.m. into the early afternoon. Conditions dry out significantly by early next week.
