Absolutely disheartening to see whats going on in South Africa.
The country already has a ridiculous unemployment rate of 33.6% and an estimated 23 million living in poverty. Now they are accepting assylum claims from countrys like Pakistan where their is no war.
This is gross negligence from the South African goverment and like in Ireland looks like a push for votes from migrants to keep DA & ANC in power.
The ANC says it is extremely concerned that the ANC government has increased fuel prices to record-high prices wherein we are now paying over R30 per litre of 95 unleaded petrol & for all grades of diesel (with over 34% of the pump price comprising ANC government’s punitive taxes & levies).
The ANC further says it will fight the ANC government on our behalf through something called the ANC Study Group.
This is a developing, make believe story.
Yet another Press Ombud finding against @News24:
The Press Ombud dismissed a News24 complaint that an article of mine, in which I stated that News24 had joined forces with Julius Malema in a witch hunt against @afriforum, contravened the Press Code.
The Ombud found that “claiming that News24 has co-operated with Julius Malema” did not breach the Press Code.
Following the Press Ombud’s finding, the article, published in Maroela Media, will now also indicate that I am a member of Maroela’s board, but that my piece exposing News24’s ideological agenda was written in my capacity as the CEO of AfriForum.
Let me therefore state it again, and even more strongly on behalf of AfriForum: the anti-AfriForum activists at News24 such as Adriaan Basson and Pieter du Toit are joining forces with the EFF, the ANC and their other comrades who are spreading blatant lies about AfriForum. In the process, they are serving the ANC’s corrupt centralism, which is failing the people of South Africa.
AfriForum will continue to serve the interests of ordinary South Africans in opposition to the corrupt ruling elite, their new allies at News24 and certain other media outlets.
Another victory!
Solidarity has just won the case against the Minister of Trade and Industry regarding race codes in the legal sector.
The race codes have been set aside.
The Minister must pay Solidarity’s legal costs.
Several major law firms joined Solidarity as applicants.
A major breakthrough against the government’s reckless race policy!
R371 MILLION spent. 0 families housed. 🏚️
The Tembisa Extension 25 housing project was launched in 2018 to build 3,500+ homes.
Fast forward to today: construction is completely abandoned, the structures are (as usual) stripped bare, and the City of Ekurhuleni and Gauteng Housing Department are pointing fingers at each other over who’s actually responsible.
Another masterclass in government corruption, gross incompetence, and zero accountability while citizens pay the price.
This is the LOOTING CLASS, the natural tendency to steal anything that is not buried under 20T of concrete.
Come to think of it, they will even steal that too.
Not RSA, DNA.
When he realised that he is in trouble,he ran into the open veld, away from the house where his girlfriend was, because he did not want her to get harmed,in the veld he fought so hard ,the forensic investigators found more blood off the attackers on the crime scene than off Brandon, they smothered him to death, hanged his dead corpse on a pole where his farther found him the next day
Dear @DadaMorero and @CityofJoburgZA. So now we hear that PikItUp services are delayed. Waiting for money from CoJ to purchase fuel. This is so pathetic.
Without exception, liberation movements in Africa have become extremely dangerous during their political decline. The ANC is losing power across South Africa. Its legacy, too, is in tatters as its skeletons emerge from the closet. The result is internal strife, but increasingly also paranoia, conspiracy theories and the politics of scapegoating. This creates a tragically explosive situation for South Africa over the next few years.
The only solution lies in strong communities working together to create solutions (economic, safety, etc) and decentralize practical political power through self-determination. However, strong international ties that underpin and reinforce this cooperation are also essential.
I want to shake the hand of the guy who wrote this...
Have you ever seen a Muslim hospital?
Have you heard a Muslim orchestra?
Have you seen a Muslim band march in a parade?
Have you witnessed a Muslim charity?
Have you shaken hands with a Muslim Girl Scout?
Have you seen a Muslim Candy Striper?
The answer is no, you have not. Just ask yourself WHY ???
Barack Obama, during his Cairo speech, said: "I know, too, that Islam has always been a part of America 's history."
AN AMERICAN CITIZEN'S RESPONSE
Dear Mr. Obama:
Were those Muslims that were in America when the Pilgrims first landed? Funny, I thought they were Native American Indians.
Were those Muslims who celebrated the first Thanksgiving Day? Sorry again, those were Pilgrims and Native American Indians.
Can you show me one Muslim signature on the United States Constitution?
Declaration of Independence?
Bill of Rights?
Didn't think so.
Did Muslims fight for this country's freedom from England? No.
Did Muslims fight during the Civil War to free the slaves in America? No, they did not.
In fact, Muslims to this day are still the largest traffickers in human slavery. Your own half-brother, a devout Muslim, still advocates slavery himself, even though Muslims of Arabic descent refer to black Muslims as "pug-nosed slaves." Says a lot about what the Muslim world really thinks of your family's "rich Islamic heritage," doesn't it, Mr. Obama?
Where were Muslims during the Civil Rights era of this country?
Not present.
There are no pictures or media accounts of Muslims walking side by side with Martin Luther King, Jr. or helping to advance the cause of Civil Rights.
Where were Muslims during this country's Women's Suffrage era?
Again, not present. In fact, devout Muslims demand that women are subservient to men in the Islamic culture. So much so that they are often beaten for not wearing the 'hijab' or for talking to a man who is not a direct family member or their husband. Yep, the Muslims are all for women's rights, aren't they?
Where were Muslims during World War II?
They were aligned with Adolf Hitler. The Muslim grand mufti himself met with Adolf Hitler, reviewed the troops, and accepted support from the Nazi's in killing Jews.
Finally, Mr. Obama, where were Muslims on Sept. 11th, 2001?
If they weren't flying planes into the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, or a field in Pennsylvania, killing nearly 3,000 people on our own soil, they were rejoicing in the Middle East. No one can dispute the pictures shown from all parts of the Muslim world celebrating on CNN, Fox News, MSNBC, and other cable news networks that day. Strangely, the very "moderate" Muslims whose asses you bent over backward to kiss in Cairo, Egypt on June 4th were stone cold silent post 9-11. To many Americans, their silence has meant approval for the acts of that day.
And THAT, Mr. Obama, is the "rich heritage" Muslims have here in America ...
Oh, I'm sorry, I forgot to mention the Barbary Pirates. They were Muslims.
And now we can add November 5, 2009 - the slaughter of American soldiers at Fort Hood by a Muslim major who is a doctor and a psychiatrist who was supposed to be counseling soldiers returning from battle in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Also, don't forget the Boston Marathon bombing on April 15.2013 was done by 2 Muslim Brothers. That, Mr. Obama, is the "Muslim heritage" in America
EVERY AMERICAN MUST READ THIS !!
Be sure to SEND IT TO ALL.
Muslim Heritage, my ass.
Copy and post. That's what I did to inform people about these things.
Rest in Peace, Robert Wolk.
A racing champion, and an admired, caring, kind and loving man.
People ask us why we would want to make the Cape an independent country?
Really?
Because this, is the type of disgusting, senseless, and horrific tragedies that happen on a daily basis in this sinking ship called South Africa.
We are sick and tired of this.
We want law and order.
We want murderers to get the same treatment they give to the innocent.
We want to cut ourselves out, from this cANCer.
We want to govern ourselves.
We want a bright, safe future for our children.
We want to build a peaceful and prosperous country.
We want justice for people like Robert.
But even more, we want to live in a place where people like Robert, are still with us, helping us to build and grow the economy and our communities.
"The definition of insanity is to do the same thing over and over again, and to expect a different result."
This is never going to change, unless we change it.

We welcome Secretary Rubio’s announcement, issued pursuant to President Trump’s Executive Order 14204, that the United States will impose visa restrictions under Section 212(a)(3)(C) of the Immigration and Nationality Act on foreign nationals responsible for or complicit in uncompensated land seizures, race-based discrimination, and the incitement of imminent violence against minority groups in South Africa. This is a direct and overdue response to the reality the Solidarity Movement has documented for years: South Africa has become the most race-regulated country in the world, where government-sponsored racial classification, employment-equity targets, B-BBEE codes and expropriation threats treat Afrikaners and other minorities as problems to be managed rather than as equal citizens. After Pretoria failed to address the concerns previously laid out, Washington has now drawn a clear line that such policies undermine peace, economic stability and the rule of law and are incompatible with America’s foreign-policy principles. The restrictions, which may also cover certain family members, do not punish ordinary South Africans; they hold accountable those who enact and implement a system Solidarity has long warned is driving skills away and deepening division. We strongly echo the call for the South African government to quickly reverse these egregious actions and move toward a race-free future based on merit and equality before the law.

AfriForum’s response to @News24’s hit piece regarding Solidarity and @afriforum’s involvement in cultural communities, including Orania:
For the record, this is how I responded to News24’s questions:
Good day Kyle
Had you conducted thorough research, you would have seen that AfriForum is open about the fact that we are “community builders” who believe that strong and self reliant communities are the best buffer against the deterioration of the state that has taken place under successive ANC governments.
1.1 Cooperation with cultural communities
Despite the fact that AfriForum has sent News24 numerous media statements about AfriForum’s cooperation projects and agreements with a wide range of cultural communities, News24 has thus far refused to publish anything about them. At the very least, News24’s “revelation” of this old news will allow the public to see the extensive work AfriForum is doing to promote community self reliance.
1.2 Formal recognition and cooperation agreements
In addition to cooperation with Orania, official cooperation agreements have been concluded with, among others, the following communities:
• AmaBhele kaJamangile
• Barolong Boo Seleka
• Cape Forum (Coloured community)
• Batlharo Boo Tokwana Ba Ga Masibi
• Bakgatla Ba Kgafela
• Batlharo Ba Ga Motlhware
• Nama Afrikaner family clan
• Royal Leaders of South Africa (ROLESA)
• Vulamehlo Kusile Organisation (VUKO), an Ndebele organisation and community structure
AfriForum has also helped to establish a network of cultural communities, in cooperation with more than 30 traditional communities across the country, to promote cooperation.
1.3 Practical community projects in cultural communities
AfriForum has already provided support for various agricultural and other projects in the above communities, including projects carried out in cooperation with the National House of Traditional and Khoi San Leaders.
1.4 Financial expenditure on community projects
Apart from the false salary information that you published without verifying its accuracy in accordance with ethical journalistic standards, and without mentioning that salary expenditure accounts for only 36% of AfriForum’s expenditure, you also misrepresented AfriForum as spending little money on local projects, despite the answers I provided to you. In your hit pieces (campaign journalism) on AfriForum, you deliberately excluded other operational expenditure necessary to enable AfriForum, as an organisation, to carry out these projects.
Regarding your new questions about AfriForum’s expenditure, I wish to refresh your memory with the following information that I already provided in my previous response to you:
“In the questions that you directed to AfriForum, specific mention was made of the R42 million that was allocated, for the six year period that you refer to, to projects in Orania. Note that this amount represents 2.5% of AfriForum’s income in the relevant period. In contrast, 67.5%, or more than R1.1 billion, of AfriForum’s income for the relevant period was spent on projects in numerous other towns, suburbs and cities in which AfriForum is active.”
We are very satisfied that this expenditure across the country has yielded good practical, cultural and financial returns.
Our activities include repairing roads, cutting grass, appointing neighbourhood teams that work full time to improve communities, removing refuse, running recycling projects, establishing emergency water points, operating 177 neighbourhood watches, monitoring landfill sites and water quality, as well as numerous other projects.
1.5 Mandate from AfriForum members
At every AfriForum congress where AfriForum’s community projects across the country have been discussed, these projects have been endorsed by congress delegates.

The Great Ammunition Heist: The Battle of Ysterspruit
While many know Klerksdorp for its mines and quiet farmlands, one of the most daring guerrilla ambushes of the Anglo-Boer War took place just 20 kilometers west of town on 25 February 1902.
Here are three high-stakes highlights from the Battle of Ysterspruit:
1. Desperate for Ammunition
By early 1902, the guerrilla war in the Western Transvaal was reaching a boiling point. The Boer forces, commanded by the formidable General Koos de la Rey (the "Lion of the Western Transvaal"), were virtually out of bullets, rifles, and basic supplies. Knowing that British forces routinely escorted heavily guarded supply columns between Klerksdorp and outer garrisons, De la Rey laid a high-risk trap along the dusty road at Ysterspruit.
2. A 15-Minute Ambush
A British supply convoy under Colonel William Anderson set off from Klerksdorp with over 700 troops guarding dozens of wagons filled with food, equipment, and over 250,000 rounds of ammunition.
Concealed in the scrubland and ravines, 700 of De la Rey’s burghers waited until the column stretched out along the road.
The Boers launched a surprise, hard-charging attack on horseback, firing from the saddle in a display of intense mobility.
Within less than an hour, the British defenses collapsed, and De la Rey’s men seized the entire convoy without losing a single wagon.
3. The "Barefoot Parades" of Klerksdorp
The battle resulted in a massive tactical victory for the Boers, who captured a quarter of a million rounds of ammunition and hundreds of fresh rifles.
In a famous twist of wartime courtesy, De la Rey disarmed over 150 captured British soldiers.
Because the Boers were desperately short of clothing, they relieved the prisoners of their uniforms, boots, and gear, leaving them only their helmets and basic undergarments.
The disarmed, bootless soldiers were then marched back toward the British lines at Klerksdorp in what local historians often recall as one of the war's most unusual "barefoot parades."

@amazon is simply being dishonest here. They claim that they are simply following South African law by completely excluding whites. While South Africa is the most racially regulated country in the world with over 100 racial laws, these laws do not even go that far. It is therefore time for @ajassy@JeffBezos and @robertkoen to admit their mistake. Otherwise, Solidarity will continue with an international campaign against this company.

❤️🚨🚨AfriForum is threatening to take some municipalities to court over charges being placed on people who use solar power.
One of the main municipalities is Emfuleni in Gauteng. It has proposed a R2,400 once-off registration fee and a R463 monthly charge for people with solar systems. AfriForum says it wants the municipality to explain exactly what law allows it to charge this money.
AfriForum is also looking at Thaba Chweu Municipality, where it says residents with solar systems are already being charged R582.64 every month, even when their homes are no longer connected to the municipal electricity network.
AfriForum's argument is basically that municipalities cannot just create new charges because they need more money. It says they must follow the law, explain what the money is for, do the required studies and give residents a proper chance to comment before introducing such charges.
AfriForum is saying, “You cannot simply charge people for having solar panels. Show us the law that gives you the right to do this and prove that you followed the correct process.” If the municipalities cannot justify the charges, AfriForum could take the matter to court.
