@JonesOnTheNBA Damian Lillard's local community is burning down. I'm not surprised. He got back there and it's burning down
He said it, everyone is saying it. You're a crooked liar
@ClaireMax@Bulletsponge097@HylianTimelord A top surgeon who knows how to make vaccines lol, but look how compassionate he is with animals
Can't wait for the TV audience to bend backwards as the Indonesian fungus expert and the talk show scientists specifically stated it's impossible to create a vaccine
@ZhugeEX If the product is good and clearly achieved with human creativity and effort, I am fine with it
Honestly consumers are mostly in the blind of how their products are made
@C2_Cooper The stats you had in the video are great, noting the substantial increase in shooting fouls drawn % and points scored per chance, how it affects transition defence and how long players stay down
@C2_Cooper When @samfolkk said most of it is biomechanics and Siakam has such a bias stacking towards the left side, so he falls to dissipate the energy, who can comprehend this kind of expertise?
Some of it is to create sway, some to draw fouls and most is biomechanics in Siakam's case
@tomhaberstroh I watched every Jalen Brunson shot in Game 1 vs Cavs, with all possessions + play-by-play, including those preceding his free throws
No joke, Brunson fell to the ground on 0 of 29 FG attempts
@ChristopherHale You are dumb as a rock if you think American Catholics know or care about Jimmy Lai, or just as delusional as Lai who thought Trump was the savior
I wish I could hear Lai being interviewed about Trump/his admin's blatant corruption, and the suppression of precious press freedom
This is a hard article to read, but I hope you'll do so. I've spent some time reporting on widespread rape and other sexual violence of Palestinian male and female prisoners by Israeli authorities, and the article is now published. The assault victims were warned not to give speak of what they endured -- they were sometimes told they would be killed or raped if they gave interviews -- but they found the courage to do so. One man described being raped three times in a single day in Israeli prison, the third time after he tried to protest. A young woman said the guards would come in at the beginning of each shift and strip her naked and abuse her. Another reported that she was shown photos of herself being raped and warned they would be released unless she cooperated with Israeli intelligence. Even three children who had been detained told me they had been sexually abused. Look, whatever our position on the Middle East, we should be able to agree on being anti-rape. Sexual assaults were horrific when Israeli women were targeted on Oct. 7, and they're equally horrific when Israeli authorities use them against Palestinians day after day after day. We should be able to find common ground in opposing rape. Here's a gift link to the article: https://t.co/aMMHId49OO
@jamesbenge Disagree, call it tight consistently, particularly against offence (no blatant holding, clear obstruction into the gk)
In time, offence will stop as the corners are wasted
defence will follow as they may give away a penalty
ie. Arsenal at UCL acts tamer so it's not the laws
@IanDarke It is not an IFAB problem as similar grappling is mostly not allowed in other leagues or European competition. It is PGMOL (Webb and Michael Oliver) that needs to fix this
Arsenal's corners are much tamer when playing UCL
@JoeVirayNBA It'll likely deter full tank to the bottom among the 6-7 worst team
Especially games among these teams, they won't be playing 12 g-league guys
@galindafc If you struggle to score, you're susceptible to another form of variance as well: the randomness of mistakes/lucky bounces/great goals
imo, it puts great mental stress on the team when they are behind
I think consistent, high scoring teams have a higher chance to win the league
