You may find it interesting that Bashram Boshra is an Egyptian Arab who migrated to Canada as a child, and has previously defended the rights of Muslims to build Islamic centers in Montreal.

When Mitt Romney said that 47% of the country pays will never vote republicans because they’re taking more from the government than they’re contributing, he was 100% right — the share of the country receiving benefits is never going to vote to reduce them.

And his resounding defeat made it clear that no Republican can run and win on major entitlement reform or fiscal responsibility. The numbers simply don’t work.

While Republicans can’t magically cut entitlements without losing elections, they can grow the economy so the debt becomes more manageable. What they’re offering is pro-growth policy in the spirit of Reaganomics: shrink parts of government, cut fraud, cut regulations, cut taxes, and unleash prosperity in a way that makes the existing debt less burdensome.
