7-8 years ago I was working in a DIY store. So I was serving this Baba and I spoke to him in Punjabi. Guy goes to me - you thought I didn’t know English, I was like HUH and then he goes I used to be a professor at a University. I still think about that day with such confusion.

If you asked Injection to swear on Granth Sahib he did all them things. He couldn’t swear on GS cuz firstly, he’d be lying but secondly, he’s the type of bloke to just flip the argument and be like have oh some sharam, GS is massive I’m not gonna swear on that, kids these days.

Some still do it but it’s deffo decreased - people wearing the same coloured shirt and same coloured pagg. For me I agree, you need two diff colours, when you get the same colour it looks a bit too much of the same thing.

I used to think I could just dye myself out of trouble but fuck me it doesn’t even stick on properly - doesn’t get all the grey. Plus it literally grows back 3-7 days. Ain’t sasta quality and I’m doing it properly as well.

Sometimes I just look around the Gurdwara and like 80% of the Sangat are a certain age group. I think to myself if they weren’t here, it would be so empty - such a big building they’ve built and given the numbers, it wouldn’t even be needed.

That guy on TikTok is killing me. He goes to Starbucks, gives his name as a Punjabi song. Then the staff member will hand him the drink and be like - Cha For Dupatta Tera Satrang Da, the song will then play and he will make a reel out of it.

I was watching this music video from 2002, it was shot near downtown Toronto (looks like it anyways) so they were doing Bhangra, people were walking past and laughing. Fast forward 24 years if they did it now, so many cuss words would be given in real life and on the internet.

On Sunday they had Dhadi Jatha at the Gurdwara and basically there was 4 of them. So 3 of them had an instrument and mic in front of them, the 4th one had nothing - he was there on stage miming and doing hand / facial gestures. I couldn’t stop laughing.

Loads of ppl don’t wash their hath after doing a pishab but when you’re a sevadar who will be handing Granth Sahib Ji, Langar, Parshad etc then don’t you think you should be extra clean. I saw this with my own akhan on Saturday, I even followed to see where he was going after.

A newborn baby - who can’t even walk, talk, eat etc why do parents need to spend so much on toys. Spend money on these things but just wait a bit 1-3 years maybe when the kid can usually use them. They don’t have suret atm - all they need is basic things such as nappies, dodh etc

You ever just at your local Gurdwara and there’s a wedding on. You look around and it’s just full of goreh - outnumbered at our own Gurdwara, what hope do we have. WMK, thori karla. 😩
