@TheRefsView@fut_maverick A player running towards an opponent with no clue where the ball is, runs into him as the opponent looks to head the ball and impedes him from doing so. If that scenario happens anywhere else on the pitch it’s a clear foul. Anywhere.
@JamesCole041983@RabG1988 Defenders should compete for the ball. Making it difficult for the attacker is also ok. What we see here is 100% focus on impeding the attacker with no awareness of where the ball is and no attempt whatsoever to compete for it. Try that on the half way line and it’s a foul.
@stewarthpetrie@PremSportsTV Why? Zero attempt to play the ball, never even looks for it. Runs directly at player and impedes him before pushing him with 2 hands. It’s a foul everywhere on the pitch, including in the box.
@PremSportsTV I don’t get why people think this is not a foul. Never once looks for the ball. Intention is to impede the opposing player from getting to the ball. Does so with 2 hands pushing him backwards.
@chevythunder7 What does his religion have to do with anything? He was no more than a decent player who made a contribution at Celtic and also a bit of a strange character. His mixed reviews from Celtic fans is more related to those 2 factors, certainly not his religion or who he played for.
@Barcabhoy1@DannyUNIAharlem To be fair to those of us in neither camp, Celtic cannot claim to have signed quality as a consequence of taking their time. Nor can they claim to have exited recent windows stronger than they entered them. Maybe this one will be different.
@Robespi70504167@timmckane Donaldson was accused of 18 counts by two people who were youngsters at the time. He denied the accusations. A jury of 5 men and 7 women found him guilty on all counts. Either the 2 accusers are lying or he is lying. A procedural technicality is unlikely to change that.
@GM1872_ They’ve resorted to supporting whoever Japan are playing in the World Cup as a consolation for the way in which Maeda has destroyed their self worth, ended their captain’s career and terrorised their fan base for 4 years. Glorious,
@SpursWinTrophys Killed in a war that was never necessary. They were sent there by Thatcher for domestic political objectives, killed by Argentinian servicemen they had more in common with than the political snakes who sent them to their fate.
@RFCBojam What did he say about the Shankland handball at Ibrox when Hearts got 3 points they shouldn’t have? Looked very much like cheating to me given how obvious it was.
