This is what is wrong with the R’s and D’s. They ignore the facts.
"Facts are stubborn things and whatever may be our wishes, our inclinations, or the dictum of our passions, they cannot alter the state of facts and evidence."
John Adams
@BlakeSNeff@RealTStevenson Capitalism finds a solution, be a creator. We will never conserve ourself to a surplus of anything(power, water). We have to capture more when we have or create more clean and efficient ways to produce. Socialisms takes and conserves their way to poverty for the masses.
@screamcustoms In my view winning would be Elon’s version of maximum truth seeking Ai. What is your version of winning? I do see your point and the chance of becoming slaves to the government. China is already there with how they control their citizens.
@screamcustoms Agree, it is already happening, the question you have to ask yourself is you need to pick one China or the US who do you pick to win the AI race?
HE is Risen! This Easter morning just as the angels angles questioned Mary “Why seek ye the living among the dead?” My goal this year is to seek the Living Christ. I testify that Christ conquered death. He lives today and this knowledge is what gives me hope. Happy Easter!!
@katkennedyVC Ha it doesn’t matter if they have a D or an R next to their name they still won’t answer your email. Maybe just maybe if you donate enough to their campaign you can get a low level staffer to send you a form email response. :) but we all could wish and hope for that possibility.
why don't you apply a principle that has been true since Joseph walked the earth in Egypt.. Cycles happen we need to save/store more in good years, because we know bad years are around the corner.. No significant water infrastructure has been built since the 1980s.. Please do better.
Dangers have always been around that pose an addiction risk.. Everyone one has agency.. We have to decide to use that agency wisely.. You can not legislate away the harms. You have to build a people and teach your kids how to critically think, how to find hope when mistakes are made, and how to stand up take accountability and change.
“Why seek ye the living among the dead… HE IS RISEN!!!”
Holy week Tradition going on year two..
Holy Week, starting with Palm Sunday and culminating in Easter Sunday, offers a rich opportunity to engage your family in meaningful activities that reflect the significant events of Jesus Christ’s final week. Below, I’ve outlined daily activities tailored to symbolize each day’s key moments, designed to be accessible, reflective, and suitable for family participation. These draw from the Gospel accounts (primarily Matthew 21–28, Mark 11–16, Luke 19–24, and John 12–20) and aim to foster discussion, connection, and spiritual focus. Finishing with a Grand Jesus Easter Egg Hunt.
Palm Sunday (March 29, 2026)
Event: Jesus’ trium nonchalant entry into Jerusalem, greeted with palm branches and cries of “Hosanna” (Matthew 21:1–11; John 12:12–15).
Activity: Palm Branch Craft and Procession
• What to Do: Create palm branches using green construction paper, craft sticks, or real leaves. Have each family member decorate their branch with words of praise (e.g., “Hosanna,” “King,” “Peace”). Then, hold a mini “procession” around your home or yard, waving the branches and saying or singing phrases like “Blessed is He who comes!”
• Why It Fits: This mirrors the crowd’s welcome of Jesus, emphasizing His role as King. It’s a joyful way to kick off the week and invites discussion about what it means to welcome Jesus into our lives.
• Discussion Prompt: “What would it look like to welcome Jesus into our day today?”
Monday (March 30, 2026)
Event: Jesus cleanses the temple, driving out merchants and restoring its sanctity (Matthew 21:12–17; Mark 11:15–19).
Activity: Clear the Clutter Challenge
• What to Do: As a family, each family member brings something they are going to give up to help them come closer to Jesus Christ.
• Why It Fits: Cleaning reflects Jesus’ desire to purify the temple for worship. It encourages reflection on personal and family priorities, making space for God.
• Discussion Prompt: “What’s one thing we can ‘clear out’ this week to focus more on Jesus?”
• Tip: Keep it short (15–20 minutes) to avoid overwhelming kids, and let everyone pick one item to donate for added meaning.
Tuesday(March 31, 2026)
Event: Jesus teaches in the temple, sharing parables and answering questions (Matthew 21:23–25:46; Mark 11:27–13:37).
Activity: Family Parable Night
• What to Do: Pick one of Jesus’ parables from this day, like the Parable of the Ten Virgins (Matthew 25:1–13) or the Talents (Matthew 25:14–30). Read it together, then act it out with simple props (e.g., flashlights for lamps, coins for talents). Discuss its meaning over a snack.
• Why It Fits: This captures Jesus’ teaching focus, encouraging wisdom and preparedness. Acting out the story makes it memorable and engaging for all ages.
• Discussion Prompt: “What does this parable teach us about how we should live?”
• Tip: For younger kids, simplify the story to its core (e.g., “Be ready!” for the Ten Virgins). Older kids can share how it applies to their choices.
Wednesday (April 1, 206)
Event: Judas agrees to betray Jesus (Matthew 26:14–16; Luke 22:1–6), a quieter day in the narrative.
Activity: Loyalty Letters
• What to Do: Each family member writes a short letter or draws a picture expressing their commitment to Jesus or gratitude for His love. Share them aloud, then place them in a “prayer box” (a decorated shoebox works great) to revisit on Easter.
• Why It Fits: This contrasts Judas’ betrayal with choosing loyalty, emphasizing personal devotion. It’s introspective yet unifying, focusing on heart-level connection.
• Discussion Prompt: “Why do you think Judas made his choice? How can we choose to stay close to Jesus?”
• Tip: Provide prompts for younger kids (e.g., “Draw something Jesus did for you”). Keep it positive to avoid heavy judgment on Judas.
Maundy Thursday (April 2, 2026)
Event: The Last Supper, where Jesus models servant leadership and commands love for one another (John 13:1–17, 34–35; Matthew 26:17–30).
Adapted Activity: Service Promises
• What to Do: During a simple family meal with bread and juice, pass around small slips of paper, each with a family each member’s name. They write how they are going to serve that family member. You can keep it secret or share it.
• Why It Fits: This captures Jesus’ call to love and serve others, replacing foot-washing with a personalized commitment that echoes His humility. It fosters family unity and intentionality, making the “new commandment” tangible.
• Discussion Prompt: “How does serving each other help us feel closer as a family and to Jesus?”
• Tip: For younger kids ( If someone’s stuck, brainstorm together to keep it light.
• Connection: This builds on your love for shared family moments
Good Friday (April 3, 2025)
Event: Jesus’ trial, crucifixion and death, including His words of forgiveness: “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing” (Luke 23:34; Matthew 27:1–61).
Adapted Activity: Forgiveness Reflections
• What to Do: Read Luke 23:34 briefly to highlight Jesus’ forgiveness on the cross. Each family member takes a quiet moment to think of someone who’s hurt them—it could be big or small, recent or past (no need to share names aloud to keep it safe). Write or draw a short note of forgiveness (e.g., “I choose to forgive you”) on a small piece of paper. Fold the notes and place them at the base of the cross, symbolizing letting go.
Holy Saturday (April 4, 2026)
Event: Jesus rests in the tomb, a day of waiting and anticipation (Matthew 27:62–66).
Activity: Seed Planting
• What to Do: Plant seeds (e.g., beans, flowers) in small pots or a garden patch. Talk about how seeds “rest” in the ground before sprouting, like Jesus in the tomb before resurrection. Water them and set them in a sunny spot.
• Why It Fits: Planting symbolizes hope and waiting for new life, mirroring the disciples’ anticipation. It’s hands-on and forward-looking, tying to resurrection.
• Discussion Prompt: “What does it feel like to wait for something important? How can we trust God in those times?”
• Tip: Use fast-sprouting seeds to see growth by Easter or soon after, keeping kids excited.
Easter Sunday (April 5, 2026)
Event: Jesus’ resurrection, the empty tomb, and victory over death (Matthew 28:1–10; John 20:1–18).
Activity: Spiritual egg hunt with the excitement of some $$$
Jesus Easter Egg Hunt
For my family The 10 older cousins have a blind fold placed on them. They are told 10 eggs have been placed in the area, one of them has $100. Their partner (a younger cousin) has to guide them to eggs. All eggs must be kept closed and we open them at the end one by one to see who found the $100. However in each egg there is a paper with a person that saw the Resurrected Savior and the experience they were having before or a question they asked the Savior. No egg has $100 in it but each slip of paper has a number on it. The last egg is opened by the Patriarch or Matriarch of the family that reads this: “why seek ye the living among the dead…. HE IS RISEN!”. With as much urgency and desire that you all sought after the $100 egg I hope that you will continue to seek and find Jesus in your own life. The winner is number XX The team that has the paper that matches the number each gets $100. I encourage each of the older kids to write to their parents or text me the answer to the question on their paper over the next couple of days..
Accounts that I used for my eggs.
Mary Magdalene
Mary wept at the empty tomb, heartbroken, missing Jesus. A man spoke, but she didn’t know him. Jesus called her name and she instantly recognized the Savior. The Savior calls to each of us. How can you recognize when the Savior calls your name in your times of trouble?
The Women at the Tomb
The angels told the women, “He is Risen” and charged them to go and tell the other disciples. They acted upon this revelation and the Savior appeared to them on their way. How can you act on promptings to have the Savior reveal himself to you?
On the Road to Emmaus
Two disciples, sad about Jesus’ death, walked to Emmaus with a stranger. As He started to leave, they begged, Stay with us! Breaking bread, they saw it was Jesus! Without their plea, they’d have missed Him. How can you invite Jesus Christ into your life today?
Eleven Disciples
As Cleopas shared his Emmaus story, Jesus appeared among the disciples, saying, “Peace be unto you…..Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself:” They marveled, filled with joy. How can Jesus overcoming death bring you peace?
Thomas
Thomas doubted the disciples’ news of Jesus’ resurrection, demanding, “Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails,” Jesus appeared, inviting, “Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands;” Thomas believed, proclaiming, “My Lord and my God!” What strengthens your faith in Jesus when you can’t see Him?
Seven disciples on the Sea of Galilee
Not understanding the work they should be focusing on, they returned to things that they knew. After a fruitless night fishing, seven disciples saw Jesus on the shore. “Cast the net on the right side of the ship, and ye shall find.” He called. It overflowed! Sharing a meal, Jesus charged them, “Feed my sheep.” How can you focus on Jesus’ call to feed his sheep and not get distracted?
The Righteous in the Americas
After his resurrection Jesus appeared unto the Nephites in the Americas. Proclaiming: “I am Jesus Christ, whom the prophets testified shall come into the world.” He healed the sick, caused the blind to see and made the lame to walk. How can Jesus heal you today?
Saul (who became Paul) on the Road to Damascus
Saul, a fierce persecutor of Christians, traveled to Damascus to arrest followers of Jesus. Suddenly, a brilliant light from heaven flashed around him, and he fell to the ground. A voice called, “Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me?” When Saul asked who spoke, the voice replied, “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting.” Blinded by the light, Saul was led into the city, where the Lord later restored his sight through Ananias. This encounter transformed Saul into Paul, a devoted apostle. How can we be transformed as we seek Jesus and repent?
Joseph Smith in the Sacred Grove
Seeking truth and forgiveness, young Joseph Smith prayed in a grove. A pillar of light descended, and God the Father introduced His Son, Jesus Christ: “This is My Beloved Son. Hear Him.” Jesus answered Joseph’s prayer and began the Restoration. How can seeking truth through sincere prayer invite the Savior to reveal Himself and guide you personally?
“Why seek ye the living among the dead… HE IS RISEN!!!”
With as much urgency and desire that you all sought after the $100 egg I hope that you will continue to seek and find Jesus in your own life.

Do all the golf courses have them? Oh wait they took the golf courses out of the bill to mandate them. Who uses the most water…. Oh golf courses…. Oh and by the way don’t shower today to save water. Conservation is never going to lead to a surplus. We had to develop more resources to store water in years of plenty. Hmmm does the bible have a story about that….
Interesting I believe the state said we just want to install these meters to show you how much you use. Now we have them we are going to fine you if you use to much.

This is absolutely wild to see our (Republican) LG, fight so hard against making sure only citizens can vote.
These are the talking points we hear from blue states lead by democrats.
