That one in a hundred case like the Atul Subhash case is one of the worst things to happen to women in India. It has given incels and pick-me people an excuse to bring it up every time someone is held accountable for misogynistic behavior.
It is incredibly convenient for them to ignore the countless crimes committed against women every day and shift the focus to the one case where a woman was in the wrong.
