Breaking my Twitter silence because @junyer has passed away, and this is the site where he was most active. I know we had at least a few followers in common. There is a public memorial page of sorts at https://t.co/rBLd0C5Vdq.
@apenwarr@networkservice If only the other flavour of paper-eating device would follow suit! My new scanner — HP, but that seems to be the least worst option here currently — brought me hours of pain (and a good amount of Ghidra practice...) before I got anything reasonable out of it.
@apenwarr I swear by my Oki Microline — dot-matrix + tractor-feed forever! — though $partner thinks I am mad. (But our old Brother HL-1110 is also acceptable, I guess.)
@FelixCLC_@junyer "interesting modifications" should here be read as "addition of exciting new test vectors" — given that CVE-2024-3094 is rather on my (and I suspect junyer's) mind this weekend.
@Pinboard: I see that `https://t.co/2NyhFH1Uor` is refusing to connect. (I just want to point someone who's doing website crimes at at The Website Obesity Crisis!)

oh great, and Guile's import of `(chibi match)' as `(ice-9 match)' carefully patches the non-positional extension out (but I can't see any rationale for why ... presumably because it overloads `@'?)
so far, most of my Org-mode muscle memory is doing OK ... except my Emacs config has changed enough that I'm now running into horrible bugs in Org-mode that I can't work around
having to hunt around for how and why Australian legislation has changed is an absolute pain ... wish this stuff was done such that you could just use some sort of `blame' mechanism.
