"Oh, prostate cancer? That's the good one, right? They catch it early and you're golden."

Well, in a way this is true, but the amount of times someone has shared this sentiment with me is mind numbing. Like it's a compliment, but really kind a smack in the face.

Yes, Prostate cancer is curable if caught early. But it is also the second leading cause of cancer deaths among men and it's scary AF to get that diagnosis.

I had my prostate removed. So, they had to sow my bladder directly to my urethra (TMI, I know). But, 10% of men have permanent incontinence. Thank God I did not. But, that was scary AF.

I have to get my blood tested every six months and waiting for that result is scary AF.

I had to have a catheter in for a week and that was annoying AF.

I am thankful I am OK. Cancer sucks and is scary AF, even if it's "only" prostate cancer.

I’m not a Trump fan. Most of you know that.

I still voted for him.

And I’ll admit, I’m starting to see something I’ve wanted for a long time.

A reset.

Not everyone becoming America. Not everyone suddenly becoming conservative. I mean countries starting to say, “Hey, maybe we should worry about our own country first.”

Argentina for Argentina.
Chile for Chile.
America for America.

And for us, yeah, I keep thinking about Washington.

Stay strong. Trade with people. Talk to people. But stop acting like every problem on Earth automatically belongs to us.

That doesn’t mean burn everything down either.

Use the Constitution. Use the system we already have. Fix what’s broken, cut what doesn’t work, and do it without screwing over regular Americans in the process.

I didn’t vote for Trump because I think he’s some kind of hero.

I voted because I wanted the reset.

And fuck me, I think I might actually be watching it happen.
