@WallStreetApes If there is a sufficient nexus of intent between public misinformation (a lie) and a certain value or profit created by the misinformation, a consequence is absolutely in order. Especially if corrected by a third party but wholly ignored.

If you have a platform, don’t lie.

@WallStreetApes Freedom is, precisely, the absence of burden. Name calling has consequences. Lying has consequences. Gossip has consequences. But there is a continuum between least/most offensive. There really should be civil accountability that prevents violence. Libel/Slander are not free..
