@umheyexcuseme i can personally understand why his gf would be upset that he was being disdainful and distrusting of a gang rape victim who was brave enough to escalate the issue and didn't want to discuss the matter. if you can't, i think we just fundamentally have different worldviews

@umheyexcuseme - upset is that its clear he *would* be defending the rapists to his gf. this is a touchy subject and not something you can have a back + forth about like it's dateline, which he says in another tweet. also he clearly has some level of disdain for the girl ("cornell 8")

@umheyexcuseme imho the logical response for him when his gf was getting agitated is to go over evidence online - which he has access to, clearly - and form his opinion. if he decides having a convo ab it is important enough to him, fine, but i think the underlying current of why everyones -
