The lighter penguin is an elderly female whose partner died this year. The darker one is a younger male who lost his partner two years ago. Biologists have followed them as they meet every night to comfort each other. They stand for hours together watching the lights in Melbourne

@kirstyrosenunn If you ask me how I am, I will reply "low status" in a high status way, because my super objective is to beguile/charm/hoodwink/convince and deceive you. My party tricks are glottal stops & rotic Rs.

I can officially say I’ve worn a mask more than a bra this year

[Katrín Jakobsdóttir @katrinjak]

Deeply concerned about recent developments in Poland regarding women’s sexual & reproductive health & rights. The gender equality backlash around the world is alarming. We must continue to safeguard gender equality & women’s rights and speak out when we see these rights violated.

can’t believe in I Gotta Feeling they just recite all the days of the week in the middle of the song. for no reason. we really let black eyed peas get away with too much

[Saga Garðarsdóttir @harmsaga]

Jæja var að flytja í nýja íbúð en næ bara ekki að hugsa um það því ég er bara að pæla í nýju Bríetarplötunni sem er svo rugl geggjuð. Fallegar lagasmíðar, dúndrandi textar og algjört neglupopp. Til hamingju Bríet! Þú ert að fara eitthvert langt! ❤️

[Sophia Wren @sophiacadogan]

Anyone else rip their mask off when they get in to the car like they’ve just finished a disappointing surgery on Grey’s Anatomy
