@LawWithRuss How does a 26-year veteran mistake a lethal weapon for a non-lethal weapon? Surely, she should be able to tell the difference. It's unfortunate to see how many "mistakes" made by police officers result in the death of innocent people.

Judge Fernando M. Olguin has dismissed the lawsuit of Spencer Elden, a 30 year-old man claiming that the image of him nude as a baby on the cover of a Nirvana album is child pornography. 1/2
Eldon claimed he sustained “lifelong damages” as the band profited from his nude image. I think the judge made a good call in dismissing the lawsuit as it seems like Eldon is just trying to receive a payout. If it caused so much trauma, why didn't he file the suit years earlier?
@avapullara_law I think advanced directives should be legalized as it would give people with illnesses some peace of mind knowing they can die with dignity. However, the advanced directives shouldn't be used as a last resort for people not receiving the proper care they need from the government.
@HalkiasMelina I think 10 years in prison is an appropriate sentence as the incident was ruled an accident. Although he did take the lives of four people, he will still serve adequate time for the harm he has caused.

@HalkiasMelina This is #heartbreaking news. The people of Afghanistan are currently suffering due to the rulings of the Taliban. We are very #fortunate to be living in Canada thus, we should be helping those who cannot afford to provide for themselves. 1/2
@Dev_Joshi11 I think the Los Angeles County Sanitation District should be held responsible for this #spill. They failed to finish the project to replace the old pipe which resulted in an ecological disaster. Keeping their city #sanitary should be their #1 priority. https://t.co/waRCBQ2k2w
@HalkiasMelina This incident is absolutely #tragic. I agree with the point you made about all possibilities and factors must be looked at. Incidents like this are very #uncommon so its important that the police do a thorough investigation to determine the true cause.

A study done by the Ontario Living Wage Network calculates the supposed living wage required for each region in Ontario. A living wage is the calculated wage per hour needed to sustainably live in each region. The results are astounding. (4/5)

@AnyaM22232079 The cost of living in Toronto is #insane for people with full time jobs let alone students? To make living more affordable, the government can potentially #reduce the cost of apartments or houses for #students? This could have a huge impact on the quality of life for some.
@TylerWSmith6 It's crazy how someone can just #disregard other people's lives and health for the sole purpose of partying. This man was incredibly selfish and will hopefully be #charged accordingly.

@TylerWSmith6 The amount of #impaired driving cases we have been seeing lately is absolutely ridiculous. We constantly see drunk drivers get away very easily and it's about time the government takes further measures to ensure the #safety of their citizens.

@arikatesone_law I want to know what was going through the teen's head when he executed the #attack. Did the teen think that stealing $46 million was a good idea and that he wasn't going to get caught? Hopefully he realizes the consequences of his actions. #thief
Valesky Barosy, 27 year old man from Florida has been charged with COVID-19 relief #fraud after receiving a $2.1 million loan under PPP (Paycheck Protection Program) . He used the money to purchase a Lamborghini, Rolex and designer clothing. 1/4
Fraudulent claims have been made several times during the pandemic. Why hasn’t the government found a way to #filter fraudulent documents from actual claims? How can the government prevent people from making purchases for their own personal gain? #selfish 4/4
