We like the Rays to get it done tonight. Facing Castillo who holds a 4.79 ERA and 1.33 WHIP. On the other hand they are starting Martinez who has allowed 2 or less runs in 13/17 starts and holds a 2.61 ERA.

The Rays have been a top 10 lineup across the board vs RHP over the L15 and can stack a heavy LHB lineup. Castillo is allowing hard contact consistently with a 13th percentile HH% and 29th percentile BRL%. Expecting the Rays to put it on him tonight.

On the flip side the Mariners offense has been struggling. Bottom 5 BA vs RHP this season and over the L15 they rank bottom 5-10 in almost every main category vs RHP. Martinez holds an 84th percentile HH% and a low BB%. Expecting a bunch of soft contact tonight from a struggling Mariners lineup.

Overall a solid spot. The Rays have won 7/L10 at home and are 40-18 this season as favorites while the Mariners have lost 8/L10 away games. Give us the Rays to handle business tonight.

We like the under for Shohei tonight who’s gone under this line in 4/L5 starts and has been dealing with a blister and knee/hammy inflammation. Stingy matchup vs the Twins here.

The Twins have been one of the hottest teams vs RHP over the L15 with a top 5 BA - OBP - SLG - OPS - and K% over that span. Lowest K% in the league vs RHP over the L15.

They have just 5 bats with a K rate over 20% on the season with plenty of those bats capable of finding consistent contact like Buxton and Bell. Really think Shohei will have to pitch lights out to find 7+ against the Twins current form.

Overall a solid fade spot. Shohei failed to cover this line against the Padres and the Pirates over his L5 starts. Both of those lineups are a softer matchup that this Twins lineup. We will tip the cap if he manages 7+ vs one of the hotter RHP teams in the league right now. Give us the under!

Love backing the Phillies to be leading after the first 5 innings tonight. They get Luzardo on the bump who has struggled at times this season but still possesses elite strikeout stuff. On the opposite end, the Nationals are sending out Zack Littell, who’s been one of the worst major league pitchers this season. He owns a 5.45 ERA and a 1.40 WHIP. He’s very prone to giving up the long ball. Phillies lineup is a perfect target to swarm Littell as they have 2 batters who are on fire and slugging the ball at an elite clip in Schwarber & Harper. Schwarber has 4 home runs across his last 3 games and is in prime position to add to his major league lead. Overall, I love this angle for the Phillies as this is a very good bounce back spot against a very bad pitcher.
