Pokémon Go figurative lang activity today inspired by @jason16oz! We caught Pokémon, scanned a QR code to get to a Google form that used response validation to unlock the “evolved” form (harder question) when the answer was right. Then we battled our Pokemon on @GetKahoot!

My top takeaway was video game assessments. Mario assessments: keep trying a problem till the whole class has it. Pokémon: when you’ve “caught” one problem, it evolves into the next level. And achievements! Great stuff. #AMLE2018
