Not surprised care policies rank this high (+46 Care Economy, +44 paying family caregivers), even after opposition arguments. Caregiving demand has exploded and it's upending households and communities. Paying family caregivers isn't fringe. It's already happening through self-direction programs in almost every state, but those programs are under fire with Medicaid cuts. This data points to an opportunity to reframe and defend these critical supports.
