.This paper is the 5th published article from my PhD research.
“The way students cognitively appraise high-pressure clinical scenarios can meaningfully influence both their biological stress responses and their ability to perform effectively.
In environments where educators assess healthcare students using high-acuity OSCE assessments, we believe the findings of this study strongly endorse the concept that students should be given the opportunity to participate in a practice OSCE in simulated assessment conditions".
