@sircalebhammer I’m GenX, when I started working as an adult in NYC in 1991, I had a co-worker who brown bagged his lunch every day. He and his wife both worked in corporate America. They were saving for house. I thought he was a sad space alien at the time. He retired at 55. I’m still working.
