In my 20s, I wanted be successful enough to impress others. In my 30s, I wanted to be successful enough to impress myself. But, the older I get.... I just want to be the kind of man that when I show up to church/home/work/etc... people say, "Man, I'm really glad he's here”.
Jesus saves his people from sin, death, and hell. And Jesus saves his people to the church. Your local church is the table that The Lord has prepared for you in the presence of your enemies. Don’t make too light of that provision.

Paul had plans of going to Rome as a pastor. He went as a prisoner. He had plans of turning heads and hearts with The Gospel. He lost his head and was executed for his faith.
He never lost joy. The Gospel advanced.
Things don’t go as planned. But are always used for purpose.
The church at Philippi began with the salvation of a religious entrepreneur, an abused demon possessed occult member, and a secular police officer. They became the founding members. The Gospel is powerful.
Tell EVERYONE because Jesus will save ANYONE.
