@Mayor_Bowman I guess you’ll need to rename everything ‘St. Vital’ while you’re at it.
I’m not opposed, but the question is: when do we stop cancelling history and instead remember NOT to repeat it?
@Kyle75632559@ctvwinnipeg Wow, ok buddy. For one, “outraged”. But mostly, it sounds like I found a ghost account for @BrianPallister.
If you’re a welder, I’ll hire you for what you’re worth because I can’t weld very well. Same if you’re a plumber. They’re worth more than they’re being paid now.
@Kyle75632559@ctvwinnipeg By that logic, you’d still be making the same wages as someone in 1960. Or earlier.
Let’s not be ridiculous. Everyone expects their wage to increase over time WITHOUT changing careers.
@Kyle75632559@ctvwinnipeg 😂😂. Now, tell me as a red seal journeyman how you’ve never had to seek medical attention for an injury, on the job or otherwise.
@Kyle75632559@ctvwinnipeg Lol, that’s like saying an agriculture major went to the same school as a medical doctor. No bearing on the topic at all, sir.
And absolutely no one wants nurses to quit. There’s no one to take their places and I don’t see a ‘red seal tradesman’ able to heal anyone.
@Kyle75632559@ctvwinnipeg Not sure what you do for a living, other than keyboard warrior. If you didn’t get a raise commensurate with cost of living for five years, would you just lay down and accept it?
Doubt it.
@ctvwinnipeg Maybe the province should actually consider negotiating a new contract for nurses or the problem is only going to get worse... much, much worse.
@ChrisDca And wasn’t Pallister just a little too chippy about the comment about paying healthcare workers more?? There’s a nursing strike coming because his govt won’t negotiate a contract that’s been expired more than four years!
@ChrisDca Lame reopening plan, if you can call it that. Essentially three established dates to announce updated restrictions. There was no hope generated in it.
@ctvwinnipeg I’d say they completely missed their target audience. Mennonite communities in Morden, Winkler, and Steinbach areas with low vax rates are NOT where you’ll find the majority of gamblers. I’d suspect people in these communities may actually opt out of the lottery.
@Alioopsohmy @ThatsMrNeil@TPostMillennial Would you mind deleting your response to this post? Neil Zod tagged the WRONG Jason Unrau - I'm an automotive writer, not a political journalist. I'd rather not be associated with this post at all. I'd appreciate it greatly.

@ThatsMrNeil@TPostMillennial@TORGuardian after a quick fact-finding mission (something YOU should have done before tweeting about journalistic malpractice) I've discovered the Twitter profile for the article's writer. I'm assuming @UnrauJason is able to defend his position.
I expect you to fix your post.
@ThatsMrNeil@TPostMillennial I know of another Canadian journalist by the name of Jason Unrau, but he's from Alberta, not Manitoba.
So, perhaps someone who writes that I've participated in journalistic malpractice and fake news should retract their statement. What do you think, @ThatsMrNeil?
@ThatsMrNeil@TORGuardian I'd appreciate a correction to a tweet from July 4th incorrectly identifying me as the writer of an article for The Post Millennial. I've never been a contributor there. I'm an automotive writer. Your comments affect my business needlessly.
