In Memoriam: Honoring the Life and Legacy of Todd Jordan
It is with unspeakable sadness and the heaviest of hearts that we share the devastating news of Todd Jordan's sudden and unexpected passing. We are shattered and shaken by this loss. Todd was a dear friend to all of us at Hedgeye and an esteemed colleague.
The pain is immeasurable, and our hearts ache with grief. We are still in shock and struggling to come to terms with the reality of his absence.
As a cornerstone of our firm since its inception, Todd was not only an exceptional analyst, but also a pivotal force as the head of our Gaming, Lodging & Leisure team and Hedgeye’s CFO.
Joining our budding enterprise in 2008 ignited Todd’s entrepreneurial spirit. This drove his efforts at Hedgeye and the associated enterprises he worked to create, nurture and bring to fruition.
His impact on our company's growth and success was second to none. His extraordinary work ethic, dedication to mentoring young analysts, and unwavering commitment to excellence will be remembered as an enduring legacy.
Beyond his professional achievements, Todd was a remarkable human being.
A loving and devoted husband for 29 years to his wife, Marybeth, his greatest source of joy was his family. As a father, his love and devotion knew no bounds. He took immense pride in his two children and embraced the responsibilities of parenthood.
Todd possessed a sharp wit and rare gift for humor that brought joy and laughter to everyone around him. His sense of humor was infectious, creating a positive, uplifting atmosphere even during the most challenging times.
The void left by Todd's passing is vast, and our collective grief is overwhelming. We will miss him dearly and deeply. The impact of his absence will be felt not only in the professional realm, but also in the very fabric of our personal lives.
In this time of profound sorrow, we remember and celebrate the remarkable person Todd was—a cherished friend, a loving husband, a dedicated father, and an invaluable colleague.
May God bless Todd and his entire family.

Best of luck to @SHUHockey in the 2nd annual #CTIce tournament this weekend. A lifetime memory winning the first one and a special moment for the program #RunItBack
I’m proud to announce that I have signed my first NHL contract with the @Canes. It has always been a dream of mine to get here, but I never would of thought that I would sign with my brother @CottonDavid on the same day with the same team. Ready to get back to work.
Honored to have worn the @SHUHockey jersey these last 4 years. To the coaching staff, thank you for taking a chance on me when no one else did. To all my team mates, thank you for creating lifetime memories and friendships. Keep leaving the jersey in a better place. #Pios
The Pelicans have agreed to a deal to trade Anthony Davis to the Lakers for Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram, Josh Hart, and three first-round picks – including the No. 4 overall in 2019 Draft, league sources tell ESPN.
This past season, we shared our 25 Defining Moments in Dallas Stars history. This one didn't make the cut, although it is legendary in its own way... https://t.co/ObxLMJYNA6
