@Ford parts search is completely broken. Every other online parts dealer can figure this out, and deliver relevant search results.

I’m a nobody. But the fact that I can’t search the manufacturers online parts store and get accurate and reliable information, boggles my mind.

Hey @Ford, why is your website parts search such absolute trash? I’m logged in, you have my VIN (2013 Lincoln MKT). I search for “cv joint” and it returns 1 part - for a Mustang GT4 CV boot.

How is this even defendable, or is it acceptable, in 2026?

@jimfarley98 I couldn’t even find a common fluid on the site via search last month. Thankfully my local dealer had a guy at the counter who had that part # memorized so we could find it because even he couldn’t get it to show up in his search.

@DeltaAssist not happy about getting dinged at normal bag rates for extra bags when I’m media flying for work. My @APAnational ID / media card has been approved for years and hundreds of checked bags in the last decade, but not today? $300 to fly the 2 last bags (of 8) stung.
