@BobbyMa00187643@AndrewCrowther I make you right. There are probably 15 teams expecting a shot at promotion. The season Wimbledon went up was our big chance
@GillsInTheBlood I think so too. If we could find a hard as nails centre mid and I wouldn't mind seeing Omari Patrick down the left side I think with SPH and Hale up top we start to look pretty decent.
@GillsInTheBlood Two types of teams get out of league 2. (A) Teams that entertain as they have the players capable of doing it with a strong back line. (B) Teams that grind out results, show little flair and bore you to death. I'd prefer team A after the last 2 seasons. Hurtado or Smith โ๏ธ
@WarrenT88801465@GillsInTheBlood I know different times but Terry Cochrane and Johnny Hodge were 2 of my favourite Gills wingers. They weren't exactly quick but a level above. I agree with you power and pace is needed but I'd still make room for him. Could even see him playing behind the CF.
@WarrenT88801465@GillsInTheBlood I think if he and Garath were sharing minutes on the same side of the pitch we would give teams a big problem. But other signings would need to have pace and power.
@Darren_Chandler@StuartLewis66@TheGillsFC I Iive near Pinatar Arena and it's a great place for pre-season training and matches. Watched Forest, Millwall and Sunderland last pre-season. It doesn't then stop you having the games in the UK as pre-season progresses.
