Six rule changes for the NHL. Nothing crazy, but it would make games more exciting, lower video review time, and one that would benefit players and teams.
What say you?

@yyzsportsmedia I don't think it is just about playing on their line. It is about being on the team. Babcock's history shows he doesn't go after top guys. He goes after depth players, so is it worth it to be teammate with those two, but have him as the coach. Some will do it, others will pass.
Congratulations to Condors VP of Marketing and Communications Ryan Holt on receiving the AHL’s Ken McKenzie Award recognizing excellence in public relations and marketing.

Response via text from an NHL player agent when I asked about Oilers coaching rumour…
“The opportunity to play with McDavid or Draisaitl is diminished with the potential to be coached by Babcock. It is a valid concern voiced to me by a few of my clients.”

The one interesting rumour that hasn't gone away is that Vegas will promote Ryan Craig from Henderson to Vegas as their head coach next year. Tortorella was only signed to end of this season. Seems crazy that he might not return, but Vegas always done it their way.

Brunson put a lot of faith in management to make good deals with the money saved and they did. When a star player takes less, you need good management to turn those savings into a better roster.
**Cough, Oilers, Cough**.
In a largely unprecedented financial concession to give roster flexibility to a contender, New York Knicks star Jalen Brunson has agreed on a four-year, $156.5 million extension, his agent Sam Rose of CAA tells ESPN --- $113M less guaranteed than he’s eligible to receive in one year.
Knicks end their 53-year drought.
Brunson with 45 points and will be the MVP.
Knicks overcame a 10-point deficit in the fourth quarter. No quit.
Full marks to win series in five!!!

@campusconduct Go look up SF%, XGF% and GF% of those three from 2021-2025. False to claim Jones' were better. People said Jones had little value when CHI traded him. But he got them a 1st and a a starting young goalie. Nurse won't get that, but he has more value than you suggest.
Oilers need to make smart decision when trading Nurse.
Always available. Has only missed 18 games the past 9 seasons.
Can log big minutes. Skates well. Is physical.
Can chip in offensively at 5x5. He is 40th in EV goals and points among Dmen the past three seasons.
He's not a #1 Dman, but he has value. Oilers can't afford another trade similar to Stuart Skinner.
