Bottesford Town Football Club are pleased to confirm that Paul Grimes has been appointed Joint First Team Manager, working alongside Leigh Herrick.

Paul brings a wealth of experience to the role, having previously been part of management teams that achieved promotion from Step 5 with both Winterton Rangers and Lincoln United. His knowledge, standards and understanding of the level will be a real asset to the club.

Everyone at Bottesford Town is looking forward to Paul getting started alongside Leigh as we continue to build for the future.

First Team Chairman Howard Pirie on the appointment of Paul as joint first team manager:

“Absolutely delighted to welcome Paul to the management team, he brings a vast amount of experience and knowledge and will help get to where we want to be, last season was very frustrating and that wasn’t due to Leigh’s input and determination. Leigh has this club running through his veins and has brought Paul in to add to making this club better this year. I firmly believe we have the framework of a great first team squad and Leigh and Paul will make us push onto that next step.
