@nynjpaweather Any chance the smoke served as additional "condensation nuclei" to help intensify the storms early on? I noticed on satellite most of the storms fired up right on the edge of the heavier smoke as it pushed south.
@gannoncapital@Polymarket That is still the funniest movie clip in history. That 23 seconds still makes me die laughing like the first time I saw it as a kid
@BigJoeBastardi Ehhh at Belmar yesterday there were a good handful of folks full on swimming, including myself. The water temp was borderline of actually going all the way in. It took a lot of getting used to
@GBC_Press This would not work because the two continents are continuously moving apart from each other. The Atlantic Ocean is currently widening due to plate tectonics.
@nynjpaweather Here's a pic of the sloppy seconds I received here in Millburn. The storm weakened a lot right before it hit. Just a few gusts of wind, moderate to barely heavy rain, and little in the way lightning and thunder. Some cool clouds though
@NWS_MountHolly@nynjpaweather I'm seeing quite a few loctions report dew points in the 80s in the southwest NJ. On https://t.co/jTYHWy7YKx. Not sure I've ever seen that before in this state
